Or take a 15 minute drive to watch a movie at the old fashioned theatre. Have a picnic at one of the two parks just a couple of blocks away. Looking for a place to cool off during the summer? Take a thirty minute drive to the local Wipe Out Pool which has the longest waterside in the valley (opened Memorial day to mid-August).

The cabin looks exactly like the photos! Quiet, peaceful, respectful; needed after a 12 hour drive. Detailed directions were great, and it's around the corner from some stores. A later check-in is easy, just call in advance. The bed was very comfortable, and the hot water was consistent the entire 10-12 min shower. The cabin itself is two units, so in the AM I could hear the neighbors packing up, etc. but it was minimal. Driving from Phoenix to Lincoln, this specific route actually trimmed 20 mins off the google maps suggested route. I would definitely stay here again.

Karen’s place was perfect for our needs of overflow for family Christmas sleeping arrangements. Beds were comfortable, space was inviting. The only thing, which wasn’t a problem for our group at all, is that you have to go through the other bedroom to either use the bathroom or get into the main living room. Just something to consider if having two parties who don’t like to share space. Would recommend.

A well-organized bathroom features neutral walls and a window covered with wooden blinds. A towel rack displays neatly rolled towels and a small plant adds a touch of greenery. Essential amenities, including a toilet and a waste bin, are also visible.

The house was very well appointed and had a lot of pleasant surprises from snacks to coffee and condiments as well as plenty of towels and linens! The decor was very soothing and peaceful. The garden and the big lawn area was beautiful and the private courtyard off the kitchen was a pleasant spot for our morning coffee. Many thanks and highly recommended.

The tiny house was really fun and was neat to stay in. The AC only cooled the kitchen though, not the sleeping area at all, so it was a little uncomfortable until well into the night. The only downside is that it’s right behind some commercial buildings, you could hear most of the traffic. Otherwise though, really enjoyed it.

Janet has two places to rent. A RV with all hookups. And a one bedroom villa. Very nice, clean. The courtyard is wonderful. I would highly recommend both places to stay. Quiet neighborhood and very close to downtown & hospital. I'd come back here again.

Thanks for enjoyable weekend at your place, Brad. La Junta KOA meet all our needs for a quick trip to La Junta for college wrestling. Friendly Host- clear instructions for our stay. Our little Cabin B was comfortable -clean - fully stocked with linen/towels/kitchen items. Pet area was also clean/stocked with bags for clean up. We want to return in the summer months to explore the area more. Community is rich in ranching and railroad history. KOA has some cool rail cars on the property. Caboose to rent! Love to try the Caboose next trip! Nikki Mark McCulley Carlsbad NM
