‘Round the Bend Farm - private, modern cabin

Our newly built, modern cabin offers a secluded and relaxing retreat in Union, Maine. With the high ceilings, open floor plan, and many windows, guests are surrounded by natural light and forest views. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and an outdoor grill and fire pit. Walking trails connect the cabin to our farm next door, where you can visit with our horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. We are just 25 minutes from the Midcoast's shops, restaurants, and beaches.

Beachfront Guest Cottage - Year-round Hot Tub!

Our cozy guest cottage has easy beachfront/kayak/canoe access (if you bring your own) and is located very close (within walking distance at low tide) to the public boat launch for larger boats. Great location to explore Deer Isle, Acadia (approx 1hr), Castine (45m), and the Bangor (1hr) area. Brave children and adults even swim from the beach but comfortable swimming ponds/lakes are 10m in several directions. The hot-tub is open year-round! Additional guests can be considered prior to booking.

Summer 2026 ~Visit Acadia Park & Bar Harbor by day & stay here at night. Our 1.4 acre shore-front family retreat began an 18 month renovation Fall of 2018 & only opened recently - Dishwasher, new beds, Hi-speed Internet no data limit. We fell in love with this quiet coastal sanctuary, the perfect place to reconnect with nature while staying on grid. ☪ At night you'll experience deafening silence under the natural light of the stars. High-speed Internet keeps you connected.

Lillebo

Lillebo is set near the end of a dead end road with a five minute walk yielding views over Frenchman's bay with Sorrento in the near view and Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor in the long view. This homey house is set about 200 feet from the road with no neighbors in direct view. There’s a screen porch on one end of the house and a garage on the other. In the garage there is a ping pong table, corn hole, darts and bikes. There are three adult bikes, one youth bike and one kids bike.

We are 27 minutes from Acadia National Park and surrounded by truly gorgeous local beaches. We offer super comfy beds, a seasonal outdoor shower, hot tub, grill, fire pit, twinkle lights, summer nights filled with fireflies, bright maples in the fall, and a cozy wood stove in the winter.

BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.
