House vacation rentals in Swannanoa

This was our fifth year staying at Elevacres. We have so enjoyed each visit. Kevin was, again, a great host. Thank you for everything. We will miss your home as our AVL rental, but can’t argue with you wanting that daily view back. Cheers!

Amanda was an amazing host! She was super helpful with sending recommendations before our trip, and was on top of responses while we were there. She was more than happy to accommodate our needs.

It was lovely, the communications with the manager were perfect and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Linens could use a little refreshing, however.

Great location, great setup, everything that is needed on a trip was there.

Our family is huge so it’s really hard to find a house large enough to host all of us. Daniel’s house was GORGEOUS and so spacious, the photos did not do this place justice. The upstairs was beautiful with large windows that let natural light in. We did encounter a mama bear and her baby, but Daniel warned us every day during our stay to keep trash in and be aware of the bears. We were secured inside the house and got to watch through the windows. It was an amazing experience for the kids. The golf cart was a game changer. We didn’t have to move our vehicles a lot. The amenities were perfect for us and the kids. Two pools, mini golf, and pickleball was all we needed to stay busy the entire weekend. Lake Lure was closed, but that was told to us weeks before the trip. We will definitely come back when Lake Lure opens. 10/10 vacation!!!!!!

Very cozy and comfortable home. Black Mountain is a charming small town with great shops and restaurants. Highly recommended. Did not really interact with Evolve beyond the welcome email. I did communicate with the owner a few times who was great. Very friendly and helpful.

The house is nicely furnished. At first I thought the furniture would be “just for decor” but it was actually very comfortable. Communication was fast and easy.

Great place, clean, close to town, great accommodation!

Nice and chill spot to sorta hide out. You can get some privacy outside but just a good basic hideaway if visiting. Had a small mixup with housekeeping leaving danp linens but since rhey have the dryer easily fixed and the host was totally apologetic and understanding. Great communication.

Perfect! Simply all you need. Clean, well designed, beautiful surroundings, communicative, and worth every penny. If you are hesitant to book, then stop wasting time. Wish I could give ten stars instead of five. Already planning my next trip.

We loved our stay! Had a girl's trip with 4 of us and it was the perfect blend of seclusion while also being close to many things. Peaceful and quiet, beautiful porch and views, clean, safe, well-stocked, and plenty of parking (we easily fit 3 cars). We cooked dinner every night at the house and it had everything you'd need. I brought my own chef's knife (I'm picky) so I can't speak to that, but found everything else we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Our family had an amazing stay. The location is very convenient. The home is charming with everything you can need. The little touches such as robes and fire starters are so thoughtful. We felt welcome and right at home. We love the area and hope to be back soon. Thank you!

Had a great stay, the house looks exactly like the photos and is spotlessly clean! Appreciate the warning in the description about bugs, definitely something for people who are scared of bugs to consider before staying - nothing crazy but a moth or spider here and there. The location is great, beautiful surroundings and 15-20 minutes from restaurants, shopping, groceries and all of downtown Asheville. I would stay here again! The one thing I wish was different was the water was hard and had a sulfur smell/taste, so bring bottled water and be prepared for the shower to have a faint smell.

Our stay at Brads place was wonderful. It was immaculate and a beautiful space. Easy to access and Brad was very friendly, hospitable and helpful. The view of the mountains is beyond gorgeous. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone!!

A nice place that was within a close drive to everything. Very nicely designed and well taken care of. Would stay here again.

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home with its incredible views of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls from the deck & patio! Lisa & Johns place is close to town, yet it is in a gated community up the mountain so its totally private & peaceful with it's awesome mountain views by day and a million stars at night! We spent time in Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Asheville, The Biltmore, Black Mountain and more, everything was easy to get to. I highly recommend this home!

Poppy's Retreat is between Asheville and Black Mountain and very convenient to get to great restaurants. The open plan layout was fantastic. The river was a bit further of a walk than we anticipated and a little over grown but still a pleasant sight to see. We got to see the resident bunny family and Haiku the cat came to visit!

This is a lovely home in beautiful surroundings. We have stayed here before and will definitely come back!

Probably the best and most beautiful Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The view is incredible, the house is super inviting, clean and modern. My wife said her brain works better there lol. She’s already been in touch with the owners to recreate some of the decor in our home. If you’re on the fence about this one, don’t be. It’s the absolute perfect stay.

Black Mountain is one of our absolute favorite places to visit. We had a quick weekend there to look at property in Asheville so we were gone all day. Comfortable and super cute. In a great quiet neighborhood.

The home was very nice, clean and comfortable. They have a beautiful large fenced in backyard, which was wonderful for our little dog. She also has a nice front porch with two rocking chairs and beautiful mountain views. There’s a side porch with a table and chairs and a sun shade, which was very nice for having breakfast out there in the mornings. It is very rural, which may not work for some people, but worked very well for us. Beautiful mountain views and close to downtown Black Mountain.

We had a fantastic weekend at the Black Swan house! With plenty of space for three couples, it was the perfect getaway. Each morning, we enjoyed cooking breakfast together in the well-equipped kitchen. The game room downstairs—with the pool table and Ms. Pacman—was a big hit, and the hot tub and fire pit were the perfect way to unwind in the evenings. The home is beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of charm. Its location made it easy to explore both Black Mountain and Asheville. We’d love to come back!

Nancy was great and home was perfect!! Everything you could think of was provided, even old towels at the door to wipe off mud, etc. (I’m from NY, so this was so me!) So organized with binders of things in the area, clear instructions for the home, etc. I’m volunteering in the area, so this location was 100% perfect for me. Very peaceful and a nice back deck to escape for a moment.

This is a great place for families or people traveling together. The bedrooms are separated by the living space, which gives privacy and quiet to everyone. My husband and I stayed with our adult son and his girlfriend and it was a perfect space for the 4 of us. The neighborhood is quiet. The house had everything we needed. I would stay here again.
