Monthly Rentals in Swan Tinaja

This place was perfect! It was super clean and had everything we needed. I sent a message to Mar late one evening that we were staying in a poorly kept air b&b and we wanted to relocate asap. She replied almost immediately. We were in the place at 12:30pm the next day. The porch is nice and large. The extra amenities made it extra special. We loved every minute of our stay.

Loved the stay!! Mindful of the ocotillos/cacti right next to where you park and around the property - midnight walks in sandals leads to finding cacti with exposed appendages!! Haha. Was a great place to relax under the stars, was close enough to Big Bend we felt able to exit the park to run back and get stuff and head back in, and it’s outside of Terlingua; there may be passing traffic but it’s few and far between. We made use of the kitchen that was stocked with new pots and pans, utensils and seasonings , the bathroom felt spacious and was stocked with toiletries people may have left behind, and we were VERY glad it remained insulated during the hot days and cool nights . Only bit of note - I feel the listing says sleeps 3? With a bed and floor mattress — perhaps a couple and their young child could partake, but two large 6’2+ brothers, there was no cuddling in the main bed and the other was resided to a knee-high, twin-size cot. For others’ consideration ! A great stay overall!

The Perch was amazing property with incredible views. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Our kids loved the off grid experience and outdoor shower. We had some issues with weather the day we were checking in and the Host was very helpful and responsive. It absolutely requires an off road vehicle to access and can become inaccessible very quickly if it rains, so it’s worth having a back up plan just in case. That being said It’s still a not to be missed experience.

Had an amazing stay. Room was very cute and in a good location very close to a lot of local places. The room had many great amenities and was perfect for our stay.
