Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. Lower your pulse at the top of the Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum Municipality, just off the Høyt & Lavt Modum climbing park. Here you can find quiet among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view of the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just room for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent electric bikes, stroll down to the climbing park, or explore the local community.

Bungalow from 1860 that has been refurbished so that old meets new. Brand new bathroom with large bathtub with lion feet where you can stretch out completely. Private shower if you'd rather use it. There is also a washer and dryer in the bathroom. Combined kitchen and living room with large wood stove which is great to gather around on a cold winter day. Two bedrooms with beds for a total of 5 pieces. There can also be an extra pair of guest beds and there is the possibility to sleep on the couch so there is room for many.

Its close to the woods and mountains, you can take walks from the house or drive futher to get higher up on the mountain tops. Its a nice place with friendly neighbours on a farm area. Here you can also go swimming in the river in the summer and go skiing in the winter. And its close to the big ski resort in Kongsberg.
