It’s like a step back from reality, the peace and tranquillity you find here is like non other. Your own deck overlooking the creek to enjoy morning coffee,evening relaxing with an adult beverage or casting a line.There are stairs to creek level, a fishing/ launch area for the provided kayaks. The Gingerbread House is on the same property. Friends,family or other guest can rent as well. The only thing shared is parking ,steps n creek. Bathhouse is separate. Come and enjoy your stay at the Historic Lakewood Park. We have ten cabins open year-round for rental at the property. Each offers an enjoyable experience on our 63-acre and 10-acre lake. Amenities include single-room cabins with fireplace, kitchenette, queen bed, couch (folds to a bed), private bathroom with 5' tiled shower, wifi, cable TV, lake fishing, hiking, outdoor firepit, grill, and more. Linens are included with this cabin (bedding, pillows, towels, wash clothes, soaps, shampoo, etc.)

Creekside Cabin

Enjoy our cozy two bedroom rustic cabin that sits a few feet from a flowing creek, and a relaxing pond. The cabin was originally built as a one room hunting cabin with knotty pine walls, wood ceiling and large stone fireplace. The addition of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry converted the cabin into a comfortable home, while maintaining the original charm and character. The original hunting cabin space is now the great room, with the kitchen on one side and the family room on the other.

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Originally built in the 1930s as a fishing cabin, "The Lure" was completely renovated in 2021 to be your ultimate couples getaway. Do it all or do nothing at all on your private water-front deck. Relax by the fire, sit on the deck and watch the sun reflect off of the extremely quiet and serene glacial "round pond", or paddle around on the house canoe.
