Cottage vacation rentals in Susquehanna River

We loved this house and location. It was perfect for our family getaway to Amish country it was over an hour away but the drive through the countryside was beautiful. After one day of just hanging out and barbecuing we fished at the lake and caught plenty of fish. Could not be happier with this stay!

Highly recommended — especially for families with young children! The property has everything you could need, and there’s even a charming farm nearby (just be sure to check their hours in advance). The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The house was spotless and had such a welcoming, positive energy. With so much land to explore, you truly don’t need to leave the property if you bring your own food and supplies. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely book again in the future!

We had a great stay at Cayla’s Cottage. The Cottage was very clean, and it’s clear the hot tub is well taken care of. We enjoyed the grill and fondue set and found the chalk board and binder to be quite helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and accessories. The location of the cottage makes a trip to Marsh Creek State Park super accessible. Have fun day at the park and unwind in the hot tub afterwards! We can’t wait to come back!

Danny and Travis are excellent hosts ! The house is gorgeous and extremely clean and well maintained. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking utensils/ pots which is awesome for people who enjoy cooking (like we do). This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love it and plan to return.

Perfect, modern yet cozy cabin. The aesthetic was beautiful and was fully stocked with everything you could need. The neighbors are close but we never saw them. Maybe because we came up before the season picks up. We utilized all of Bilen's local recommendations. We loved the Local Table & Tap. Beautiful views. We also took a drive to Upward Brewing which was phenomenal. Keeping this Airbnb in my go-tos. Couldn't be happier :) Perfect for nature lovers.

We can’t say enough about Hilee’s beautiful home, her excellent communication and how well she went out of her way to make us feel at home. She let us know as soon as the house was cleaned and available, easy instructions, and we walked right into the coziest setting- with fresh muffins to welcome us, lights on and music playing. Exactly as described but even better! Super comfortable beds, incredibly clean and great amenities! Thank you so much for letting us stay! Great location with so much to do. It was rainy when we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful yard but such a lovely find! We’ll be back when we’re in the area!

Bob & Julie's they were excellent hosts! The house and property are beautiful! This place is one we would return to without hesitation. It was very clean and included everything needed in the kitchen at home cooking. Hot tub was awesome with amazing view on the lake. The wood burning fire pit was one of our favorites about the house. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

This was our 5th visit to the Lava Scool House ARBNB. We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend, and can't wait to return. The place is so comfortable and peaceful. The kitchen is equipped with anything you would need. The bedrooms are spacious, and the livingroom is a nice place to relax. There are two bathrooms, which were beautifully renovated. We highly recommend the ARBNB if you are visiting the area near and aroumd Narrowsburg.

This quaint little cottage on the banks of the Delaware Canal is a true gem—peaceful, charming, and steps away from the heart of Yardley. It was far more comfortable than any nearby hotel, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the only thing to wake me in the morning was the soft sound of birds outside. The rainfall showerhead was an unexpected bonus! Just a short stroll away are local favorites like Pretty Bird coffee, Cramers Bakery, and a variety of great dining options. You can also grab snacks or a hoagie from Wawa and enjoy it by the canal in the cottage’s private yard. Cindy, the host, was proactive, timely, and communicative. I felt fully reassured that if anything came up, it would be handled quickly. (though everything was perfect, so nothing did!). I truly can’t recommend this place enough, it's the perfect home base for any visit. I'll be back for sure.

This was our third time staying at the Blue Belle. We enjoy our time there so much, the cottage is cozy and we love that it’s pet friendly. The screened in porch is our favorite with the relaxing sounds of the river. Jessica is a great host and got back to us quickly when we had any questions. We can’t wait to go back!

Jeanie is the ideal host! Communication was easy and her responses were quick. The cottage is comfy, quaint, clean and quiet. There were coffee beans ready to grind for a much needed cup of joe and fresh vegan cookies in the fridge. Traveling with family from LA, the cottage was the balm they needed. The yard, and the farm fields that stretched out in front and beside us were beautifully green, with the sounds of songbirds, frogs, and rain on the rooftop one night. We could all pause and breathe in the peace around us. We felt at home and welcomed and recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in the woods. The space was comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully designed — the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. One highlight was the kitchen. Honestly, I wish my kitchen at home was this nice! It was fully equipped with a fantastic induction stove, a great oven, and even a well-stocked spice cabinet. I really enjoyed cooking a few special meals there for my wife’s birthday. The cabin also has some delightful surprises. My son absolutely screamed with happiness when he discovered the secret room hidden behind the wardrobe — a magical touch that made the stay even more memorable for our family. The surroundings are just as charming: peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for unwinding. We’d love to come back. Highly recommend! Mike is a great host.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was exactly as described. The host was communicative and kind while offering lots of privacy. Extra touches like notes around the home and breakfast treats made the stay extra special. The host was accommodating of all of our needs as a party traveling with an infant and pets. Charming and comfortable, clean stay!

This was the perfect place for my old college friends and I to spend the night catching up. We originally selected it for its kitchen and close proximity to the Stockton Market (4 minute drive) and Lambertville (10 minute drive) but were then so impressed with how beautiful it was when we got there. All of the design (heated bathroom floors!), decor, furniture and linens made it better than any local hotel we've stayed at in the past. Edward was the best host! He was super quick to respond to questions, very friendly, and even dropped off some of milk for us! Great CD collection too! We are already planning our next trip back.

We loved how quiet and comfortable it was to stay at Silk Purse Cottage . Jan anticipated our every need. The cottage is nestled in a woodsy location surrounded with flowering shrubs and ferns. The interior was quaintly furnished with a vintage decor but all modern amenities were provided in the bathroom and kitchen. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a lovely Cottage that has everything you need for a weekend escape from the city. Beautiful vistas, a very cozy, inviting and comfortable living space along with tons of outdoor adventures at your fingertips. My wife, daughter and I were very pleased and would certainly consider a return visit.

We had an excellent stay! Property is beautiful, and even though located right on a main road, once you’re in the driveway, you’d never know it. Inside was neat and clean, and had pretty much anything you could need. Hosts were fantastic - welcoming and right on property (in a completely separate building) if anything had been needed (but it wasn’t!). A really cool, unique place with A+ hosts!

The cottage is perfect. Beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The sauna overlooking the lake was amazing. The easy access to the kayaks was great and paddling on the lake was so peaceful. Five stars for a PERFECT weekend at a perfect cottage.

Amazing stay! Jude and her dogs and her husband are truly amazing people! We had a wonderful stay and would come back in a heartbeat!!! We spent our honeymoon here and it was magical- best place to honeymoon! Jude was the most amazing host!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The cottage was so charming and Stephanie was fantastic at communicating and making us feel very welcomed. We plan to stay there again in the future.

I had a really lovely stay here while in town for a weekend event. It was the perfect little apartment for the weekend and Jillian went above and beyond to help. Not only did she allow me to have groceries delivered to the site she put them inside and in the fridge when the delivery driver was an hour early. The space was clean and quiet, and exactly what I needed for this weekend, and the host was so friendly and helpful. It honestly made this trip a success and I already plan to book for next year if possible!

Family had a wonderful stay at the farm. Plan to return again to feed the animals, enjoy the serene farmhouse and welcoming hosts.
