We had a truly wonderful stay at Dena’s home. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The attention to detail and thoughtful gestures were remarkable. From the coffee and bedside waters to the abundance of toiletries, every aspect of our stay was well thought out. We were especially touched by the surprise Christmas gifts waiting under the tree, which added such a special and personal touch to our visit. The hospitality exceeded all expectations, and we highly recommend their home to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

The house was amazing with lots of room and a beautiful view of James River. We saw lots of wildlife like eagles, osprey, rabbits, lizards, deer etc. It is in a great location away from everything and a short drive to ride the ferry to Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. We wanted to enjoyed all of the historical places since all of my kids love history. One day was supposed to be rainy so we stayed in the Surry area and visited Bacon’s Castle and Smith’s Fort. Both are very interesting places to visit and I highly recommend them. It was my husband and me with our 5 grown up children all ranging in ages of 18 to 31. All of us wanted to visit all the historical spots and even did a Civil War Ghost tour that my youngest son really enjoyed. Everything was great. Coming back to the house was so relaxing either by the tv or making s’mores by the fire pit. The beds are comfy and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. This is a perfect getaway and I hope to stay here more in the future.

BY far the best Airbnb experience We've ever had. Very homey and comfortable. Lisa met us at the house and gave us the tour of the house. We forgot our fan and she went to her house to get one for us. Called to check in and see if we needed anything. We were 6 miles from Bush Gardens, 5 miles from the event center we needed to be at and about 10 miles from the Premium outlets. Very convenient to everything we needed, and wanted to get to. We would definitely rent this location again and highly recommend it to anyone. Lisa calls this the Holiday House and she means it. We were there at Easter and the whole house was decorated for Easter. She even left Easter candy for us and very lovely gift for our 5 year old Grandchild. The absolute perfect Hostess.

Our extended family of 14 had an amazing time exploring the battlefields of Petersburg, riding coasters at Busch Gardens and slipping down the water slides at Water Country USA! Amanda’s place was so inviting and beautiful! We enjoyed watching the squirrels and birds from the living room every morning. The beds were amazingly comfortable too 👏 Very accommodating!!

Our family had a wonderful time at Jeffrey’s place. The home is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we needed (including lots of kids books and toys). My children loved the private beach (it’s amazing) and exploring the property. We found fun shells, and even a few shark teeth. We daytripped to Jamestown and Williamsburg (10 min to the ferry, 20 min to get across) and had a wonderful time at both places. My kids had a blast riding the ferry (getting out and watching from the upper deck is a must). Definitely plan to get groceries ahead of time - it’s pretty remote, in a good way. Lots of fun wild life to spot - bald eagles, turkey, deer, even a skunk! Fun was had by all, we would stay again.

Elli & Brent’s place on the James River was a beautiful spot for our family vacation. Our arrival was wonderful as our hosts had left us a cute note and treats to enjoy. The house had plenty of room for our group of 6, especially with the outdoor space/dock and the home theater, which might have been the kids favorite room. The property was conveniently just a quarter mile away from the ferry so Jamestown/Yorktown/Willliamsburg/Busch Gardens were easily accessible. Really an excellent place from which to visit the triangle and get some nice rest and relaxation in between. Thanks guys for such a lovely visit.

Beautiful home with a warm feeling as soon you walk in , things to do for the kids such as board games, utensils for drawing and a lot of creative history and antiques to look at throughout the home. Very beautiful and clean stay, made you feel like you’re right at home! Kelly was very responsive to my messages and is a great host was more than happy with my stay during the new years ! This home was awesome. The back yard and fire place area was so relaxing in the evening. The house was adorable. We loved all of the decorations. The front porch was great for me to sit early in the morning and have a cup of coffee. There are a lot of different games Lisa has in the house for everyone to play in the evening after a day of visiting all the attractions. Lisa was great to provide a smore's basket for us. I would highly recommend this home to everyone.

This was our second time staying here. We love the location and and Vonda is a great host. She is very responsive and gives excellent instructions. Her place is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

We had a great time! The host was very helpful during check-in. The place is very cozy and 10min from the beach. The neighbors were friendly too.

My partner and I stayed for a week. He worked for a few days during the week we were there and was comfortable using the desk. We especially like the simple but very functional small kitchen. We also liked having two rooms with a door between them due to his work schedule. The neighborhood feels safe and is very close to the river with a great view of Norfolk. We walked to the ferry, walked downtown to eat, good antique stores and interesting beer nearby. Peaceful, quiet and a very comfortable bed!

My husband and I visited Steff's AirBnB on our Honeymoon and were beyond pleased! She provided so much for her guests, including eggs and bacon for breakfast!! Her space was so clean and welcoming. It was the perfect, quiet spot for us. I found the bed to be a little too firm for my personal taste, but I still got a decent enough night sleep and I will absolutely be back if we come down to Williamsburg again. The backyard was so adorable and peaceful! I only wish the weather would have been better to enjoy the fire pit and smores kit!! Thank you Steff for having us!

We LOVED Dottie’s place!! This is what Airbnb’s are meant to be. It just felt so homey and cozy. It was very clean, well decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with coffee, snacks, and toiletries you may have forgotten to bring. I also really, really appreciated that the water container on the Keurig was clean and dry!! The towels were really high quality, and there was great water pressure in the shower. The bed was very comfy and had the right amount of blankets on it. Parking was very easy and free right out front! We had a wonderful stay and can’t recommend this place enough!!

Lovely carriage house on large and private property, very quiet and peaceful. Nikki's home is elegant and delightful. When we arrived it was set up for our arrival with the most romantic and dreamy lighting with music, my husband and I were both delighted!! The apartment style carriage is well decorated with tasteful art and antiques. Nikki and her family were the perfects hosts, ensuring everything we (and our pups) needed during our extended stay. 100% would recommend to anyone traveling in the area, you will be well looked after by Nikki.

Immaculately clean, comfortable, peaceful. Exactly as expected, exactly what we needed. Bernadette was friendly and welcoming while still allowing us privacy and space. Hint: if you use the kayaks and pull them on the caddies to the launch site, I recommend using the cinch straps to keep the kayaks from bouncing off on uneven surfaces. Would definitely stay here again. Jealous of Bernadette's beautiful home!

Christian was proactive and quick to respond to my questions. The place is beautiful and clean. The staff were friendly and kind. I would stay here again easily. Great option for families who need a place to stay while visiting this area.

What an amazing stay! I've never been satisfied with an Airbnb, the photos always are so much nicer than the reality - but Big Blue was actually even better than advertised! Merlyn's communication prior to arrival made things very easy. Accessing the unit was simple, and I felt safe with the self-locking doors. The unit was clean and so comfortable, with many personal touches - I instantly felt at home. I was overjoyed when I arrived and toured the unit. Really exceeded my expectations which was such a different feeling than all the other Airbnb I've rented over the years. The beach access was tidy and pretty, the gym and beach gear a nice touch, and the foot wash station was appreciated after my morning walks with the dog. I really can't say enough great things about my stay here. Hosts were friendly and helpful every step of the way. We mostly spent our time traveling around the area from VA Beach to OBX so I can't speak much about Norfolk/Ocean View. I would def rent Big Blue again.

Really pleasant community and condo was clean and well maintained with comfy beds. Close to all the attractions in Williamsburg. We would definitely recommend.

The villa was the perfect place for our family to stay for graduation weekend at William and Mary. Plenty of space and very comfortable. Setting was lovely and great for walks in our down time. The only issue we had was the villa was not ready at the designated check in time and we had to wait an hour before we could get in.

We’d totally stay here again! Spacious, clean, nice location. It’s a 3 level condo with the entrance, kitchen, and master bedroom being on the ground floor - which made bringing everything in very easy. We found it to be relatively baby proof. We had our toddler with us so we brought a baby gate to block off the stairs, and from there the whole first level was perfect for him to roam around. The back patio is fenced in, which was great for us too. The pool is awesome. There’s an 18+ side and a family friend side. The little poolside restaurant was closed while we were there, but you’re allow to bring your own snacks and alcohol (as long as there was no glass.) The front desk staff was super helpful and easy to work with. And we found lots of great restaurants within a 15 min drive.

Powhatan is a lively resort. Close to attractions and restaurants, plus many things to do right on the grounds. Host was awesome to work witg; great communication, fast response time. Definately will book again.

Jada's place was a great find! Great area, clean, peaceful. Jada was extremely responsive to the kitchen requests we made, having items delivered that day. And when the AC struggled to keep up w the heat outside she was on it! We will definately return.
