Beachfront vacation rentals in Sunset Beach

The house is lovely with everything you need. We are not very lucky with weather and it was quite windy while we were there. So we made the most of the house which was very comfortable. The beds and pillows were really comfy too. We travelled right up the coast and I must say that the water and salty air are brutal on house materials. And also on my hair!

This was our second visit back to Horrocks and the Sunnyside Beach House. The house was extremely clean and had everything and more required for a family holiday. I will be returning as soon as I get a chance, many thanks to Roz for sharing her home with us.

We spent a lovely week at Joe's place in Mahomet Flats and were able to take our dog Jessie with us which was a huge plus. It was everything we needed, right across from the vast Back beach for morning runs, dips and surfs, and a quick drive to the servo for basics (although everything in Geraldton is generally just a short drive). The IGA on Durlacher St was only 4/5 mins away. The house is exactly as it shows in the pictures, clean with separate living and dining areas, 2 good sized bedrooms, a well kitted-out kitchen with all the basics - tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt pepper, UHT milk - a big family bathroom, laundry, good air conditioning in the lounge with a standing fan provided for the back bedroom, plenty of towels and wardrobe space. The yard was perfect for Jessie to sniff around in with a bit of shade from a Hibiscus tree. We were at family houses a lot so didn't sit out there - the grass is quite parched and patchy, and just a small outdoor setting with 2 chairs.

A home away from home. Everything was perfect. A well organised kitchen, including filtered water! As well as a really comfy lounge and dining area. Was great to be able to go for a walk on the beach and then come back and prepare a meal, watch watch a movie on the big TV and then have a wonderful sleep in the very comfortable king size. bed. Jade checked in via email every step of the way, but was no means intrusive. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was great. Very close to town and having the restaurant next door was super convenient. Throughout the stay there was nothing missing and Tracy was always available for any questions.

We had an exceptional stay in the beach chalet. They are thoughtfully designed, with the main bedroom looking out onto the ocean, with a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom. The sunsets were truly amazing and could be enjoyed from the room or beach. It’s the perfect setting to relax and get away from the city rush. The isolation does mean limited mobile reception, but could call and message as needed. Could do a quick drive to Dongara for anything forgotten or some fresh seafood. Carmen was the perfect host and a delight to deal with, thank you.

Amazing place perfect for any stay in Geraldton. We have been coming here for business for 14 years and can’t believe we havnt found it earlier. Will be a regular now.

Cannot rate Getaway Beach high enough. Would have to be one of the best places we have stayed for getting away for and relaxing. Unit was clean and very comfortable with everything needed. Very secluded which is what we were after. Plenty of things to explore in the area, with recommendations from Carmel. Out of the 7 days we were there, 4 were spent on the beach (great fishing). Lucky to get great weather for June. Can't wait to stay again. Thank you Carmel.
