Here you live peaceful and spacious with the forest and lake close by. The Herrestad farm is surrounded by ancient monuments and has been inhabited for many thousands of years. Herrestad is like a green oasis in the middle of an agricultural area and close to Sweden's largest freshwater lake. Wildlife is abundant, both in terms of birdlife and deer. Often you can see both deer and elk in the garden. Now life out in nature has also been expanded with wild boars. In the spring, the beautiful apple trees bloom and the houses are surrounded by several different kinds of beautiful deciduous trees.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation located by the beach and forest. Approximately 15 minutes to Karlstad. In the nearby area, there is Segerstad nature reserve at Vänern's beautiful archipelago. Nice forest roads invite you to hiking and cycling. For those interested in paddling, the archipelago is available less than 100 meters from the house. Bredsanden, which is a fantastic sandy beach that is child-friendly, is secluded and is 200 meters away from the house. There is an option to fish in Lake Vänern without a fishing license. FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Welcome to a cozy cottage located on our farm in By 4 km north of Sunne. The cottage has 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed of 140 cm. TV and Wi-Fi. Dining area, kitchenette with sink, cupboard, coffee maker, microwave and stove. There is also a fridge and freezer. Bathroom with toilet and shower and adjacent sauna. South-facing veranda. Three-minute walk to the jetty by Lake Fryken where you can swim. Distance: Sunne Ski & Bike 14 km, Sommarland 6 km, Mårbacka 15 km, Rottneros Park 8.5 km, Theater 8.5 km, Golf course 8 km.

Northern Värmland's Paradise

In the idyllic paradise of Sunnemo, you will find your apartment for a lovely stay. For many years, we were in Gustavsfors, 20 kilometers north of Hagfors, with 2 apartments. We had the honor of welcoming guests from all over the world during these amazing years. Recently, we moved to Sunnemo, 20 kilometers south of Hagfors, next to 3 large lakes, which connect and thus become one of Värmland's largest lake collections. Do you like fishing? Newly-equipped house with its own bay and rowboat

Lovely vacation home for those who like animals and nature! Here you can fish, swim, hike and cycle. In the nearby area, there are several nature reserves as well as hiking and biking trails. You have access to a simple rowing boat (life jackets can be borrowed) and your own swimming cove or you can borrow our jetty where you can dive or fish. We are located between Örebro and Karlskoga in Norhammar. Towels and sheets are not included. For an additional cost, they can be rented from the host.

House on the riverbank (absolute seclusion)

You can call it whatever you like: digital detox or an offline holiday – this is the perfect place for it! Watch ice floes drifting down the river, enjoy the fine sandy beach in summer, or take a canoe trip along the water. Go forest bathing, search for woodland spirits and fairies... every season has its own special charm! The bright house, built in 2018, is modern and designed for year-round use. A private drinking water well as well as exclusive fishing rights are, of course, included.

Cozy accommodation in a station house by Lake Fryken. The house from 1914 has three cozy bedrooms with two beds in each room, a spacious kitchen, the old waiting room and a nice dining room with lake views. The accommodation is located in scenic Fryksdalen, 50 meters from Lake Fryken, close to Mårbacka, Alma Löv Museum, Västanå Music and Theater.

On our rural farm, we have Icelandic horses and 2 cats Close to the forest and Lake Fryken where there is a private beach The house is cleaned upon arrival, sheets and towels are included. Breakfast is not included, but full kitchen equipment including charcoal grill outside is available.

Our farmhouse is located on our farm in eastern Värmland right next to Lake Alkvettern where perch and pike live. The cottage is in the middle of the forest where blueberries, raspberries and mushrooms grow. Outside the window, cranes and deer stroll.
