Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sungai Jawi

The place is located at the Marina in Penang - a nice spot of its own with restaurants, entertainment and a small mall. The apartment is equipped and suitable for short term and outgoing guests enjoying a marina lifestyle with waterfront, bars and restaurants. The place has a spacious balcony to enjoy the view over the marina site and its strolling visitors. Some construction work has started for creating an additional island across the marina with a slight visual impact on the view from the apartment.

The unit was superb with spacious rooms and also private tub. My kids really enjoyed it.

We stayed at Wendy & Sharon's for a month and we will come back again. It's well located and perfect for trips to Gurney Drive, George Town & Batu Ferenghi by bus or grab. Local bars and restaurants at Straits Quay are great. There is noise from those bars and you can hear the music as others have said, some nights louder than others, but it's always finished by midnight and we are ok with it. The hosts are responsive and helpful if and when required, enhancing a great holiday break.

9일동안 머물렀었는데 정말 내집처럼 편히 쉴수 있었어요. 우선은 모든 친구와 수건들이 너무 깨끗하게 잘 관리되어 있었고 집안곳곳의 청소 상태가 휼룡했어요 그리고 모든 물품들이 잘 비치되어 있어 지내기에 불편함이 없었어요. 거실에서 보이는 전망은 도시와 바다가 조화롭게 어우러져 정말 멋졌어요. 만약 다시 패낭을 여행한다면 다시 머물고 싶은 숙소에요.

Our stay at Cecilia's condo was for 2 months, so it quickly became our little home away from home. Everything met our expectations as per the description of the condo. The bed and livingroom furniture are comfy and the kitchen is well stocked with supplies and cookware. We used the stove daily for light cooking and there are two fridges which helps if you stock up on groceries. We loved the nature surrounding this condo and the regular visits by the monkeys. They instantly became the highlight of our stay, for sure. The sea view is also beautiful. There were plenty of cargo and cruise ships to watch, as well as the fishing boats that arrive early every morning. We chose not to rent a car. This location is very doable without one. We used Grab to get to and from Georgetown for shopping and touristy things. Overall, Cecilia's home is a wonderful stay for anyone looking for a natural setting, quiet, and of course monkeys! Thank you Cecilia for being such a gracious host!

I had four weeks at Daniel and Grace's place. It was so beautiful looking out at the water and the location for groceries, food etc was spot on. The hosts are both very proactive and very friendly. The bed was super comfy (and I'm a bad sleeper), so I found that really good. I was often the only one in the pool, and it was so refreshing as I found the heat hard to handle. Would stay again if visiting Penang in future.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location is great. It is close to the city and other major places. Moreover, the host is friendly and very helpful. She made us feel like a home. We definitely would love to come back.

Nice place with great view. Near to town and walkable distance to convenience store. Room are clean and welcoming especially to children.

it is a great experience staying at Alvin's place. It is a heritage house, full with characters. my family and I also want an Airbnb which is bigger than a hotel room and has privacy. This place exceeded our expectations. The place is easy to find, there are a lot of good restaurants nearby(Alvin also gives good recommendations!) Alvin is a very accommodating and proactive host. I would love to come back to stay with Alvin again! lastly, Penang is amazing 😍

Where to begin? What an absolutely stunning colonial home in a perfect location. Shawn and co were amazing with communication, the self check-in was well explained and super straightforward. Very easy to find the property too. The house itself is beautiful, plenty of space, very tastefully decorated, and comes equipped with everything you need for your stay. A big bonus is the outside seating area, garden, and wet kitchen area. Lots of nice places to eat nearby, and a very short grab ride to the beach, shopping malls, and Georgetown. Honestly one of the nicest places we’ve stayed during our travels around Malaysia, wouldn’t hesitate to come back here next time we’re in Penang. This homestay was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. Its peaceful location was also very convenient, being near many shops. We highly recommend it.

We stayed here for a month and had a great time. The beach view was great and we had live music from the beach bars and fireworks each night (for more than 4 weeks). Maybe that had to do with Chinese New Year, but it actually went on after CNY as well. Communication was excellent, there was a helpful representative who was almost always nearby and ready to assist with some very small issues we had. The security guys were very friendly to our kids and would accept packages that were delivered for us when we were out. The only significant point of improvement I see is that a bit more attention should be paid to the cleaning.

great location, great little flat with everything you'll need

We had an overall great experience staying at the Batu Ferringhi apartment in Penang. The apartment was clean, spacious, and came with a beautiful sea view that made our stay truly relaxing. The location was also perfect , close to the beach and local eateries. The host was responsive and check-in was smooth. However, we did notice that the pillows had an unpleasant smell, which could be improved for a more comfortable stay. Other than that, everything else was lovely and we would definitely consider returning!

We as a family staying at Albert's place for a month and we enjoyed it! The condo does fit to the description, and we must mention that the view is just fantastic. Unobstructive view to the Bridge II!! We also enjoy the beautiful sunrise every morning, as well as the firework show during Chinese New Year. There are food court and restaurants around the building. We also enjoy the infinite pool with the sunset. Albert is very responsive, and he gave us some very good advice and tips on traveling in Penang. We would recommend Albert's place to the other travelers.

Located in best part of beach in batu ferringhi area. Direct access through a secure gate. Infinity pool was perfect for afternoon after a long hike in close by national park. Access to Georgetown very easy with scenic bus ride , the stop is right in front of condo. The building seems to be the newest and cleanest property in area. Good amenities.

I had a fantastic stay! The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the beach, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the ocean and surrounding area. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back again!
