The Strath Pod- with stunning loch view

Loved our two-Night stay in the pod with a beautiful view. Moira is an amazing Host, we enjoyed to chat with her during breakfast. She not only prepared a delicious breakfast but also took her time to map out a Route for us to explore the surrounding area. We used the kitchen to prepare meals in the evening- it provided everything we needed and was also Super cozy and clean. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Luxury self-catering log cabin at Assich Zen Lodge

RebeccaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Stephen’s zen lodge was an absolute gem. We had an incredible night here , the lodge is beautiful as are the surrounds , so cosy and Stephen has clearly gone to a lot of effort in making a folio he left us full of recommendations of things to do in the area . The whiskey, tablet and shortbread was just the icing on the cake of what was already an environment that made us feel instantly at home . Only wish we’d stayed longer . Absolutely recommend .

We had a wonderful week with Gita and David. Communication with the hosts worked great, was pleasant and very friendly. The small hut is very idyllic and quiet in the middle of nowhere. You have to like it and whoever does will feel very, very comfortable. Everything was as described, we will be happy to come back!

A serene coastal scene illustrates a rocky beach leading to calm waters. A single figure can be seen walking along the shoreline with a dog. In the distance, a low rocky island emerges from the sea under a clear blue sky.

Prawn pod - Achiltibuie, The Summer Isles, NC500

Gorgeous pod - great attention to detail, warm, cosy, clean, modern, comfortable (especially the bed!) and smelled lovely! We had a fab time over 2 nights and amazing weather. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility and wildlife watching (rabbits, deer, seals, cuckoo!). We visited nearby beaches (achmelvich) and waterfalls (Allt chranaidh) by day then enjoyed taking in the views with a glass of wine on the decking in the evening. Fire pit was also good addition - we found logs in the local store (very helpful & friendly in there too). We wanted to go to the AM Fuaran Pub for food but it was fully booked both days we were there so had to give it a miss unfortunately. We did enjoy the homemade pies from Lochinver larder though! We would love to come back. Shame it took us 12 hours to drive there! 10/10

Double Bed Byre Cottage, Assynt

Stunning stay at Paul’s cabin. Gutted to not have been there longer, there’s so much to do and explore in the area - especially after meeting Paul and receiving all of his fabulous tips. The lodge was super cozy and in extremely good condition, sitting by the fire after a long day was perfect. Everything super clean and kitchen well equipped for self catering, and also had basics of oil/ salt/ pepper and milk. Would HIGHLY recommend, thank you!

Outstanding coastal views at Sandy Bay Pod

CaitlínRating, 5 stars2 days ago
My partner and I had a wonderful stay in this cozy pod. The view from the deck was stunning and especially enjoyed when the weather was good, when we were able to sit out with a glass of wine :) A car is definitely needed to get around the area as it is quite rural but if a getaway to the countryside is what you're after, I can wholeheartedly recommend!

sandy and I can't thank Jeanette and Colin enough for the weekend we have just had. they thought of everything. The wee thoughtful touches of the snacks left for us and the gorgeous cozy bathrobes were an absolute delight to arrive to. The pod was extremely well kitted out, all instruction were clean on how to use things, the cleanliness was top notch and wow that beds comfy. Waking up to that view and watching deer walk past was just what the doctor ordered. thank you again and we can't wait to come back.
