It takes 1 minute to walk to both the waterfall and the lake. 5 minutes drive to grocery stores, and 25 minutes to Suldal bathroom. The nearest museum is Kolbeinstveit museum which is 3 minutes (1.4 km) drive from the cabin. It is 9 minutes (8.3 km) drive to the nearest fjord to fish in the sea. Guests can rent bed linen, including a large and a small towel, for NOK 200 per person, or you can bring it yourself.

The cabin is located about midway between Røldal (3 miles) and Gullingen (4.6 miles) which is known for great winter activities.
