Large and spacious apartment in the basement of a single dwelling in Ålesund, with one bedroom, spacious living room with sofa bed, newly renovated kitchen and great bathroom. Beautiful location on Ålesund's outer island, close to the sea and mountains, with lovely views of fjords, mountains and the Sunnmørsalpene. We live in the house ourselves, and share the laundry room in the basement. We use this as little as possible when visiting. The apartment is an excellent starting point for experiences in Ålesund and its surroundings. Possibility of renting motorboat(40hp) and fishing equipment/water ski/Tube

Semi-detached house for rent in the summer of 2025. The twin residence is located in a quiet and child-friendly area of Langevåg outside Ålesund. 10 min by fast boat or 30 min drive to Ålesund. Short distance to shops, shopping center, playland, hiking areas and water park. The house has a spacious terrace. On the 1st floor you will find kitchen/living room, bathroom (with toilet, shower, washing machine and dryer), as well as a bedroom. On the 2nd floor there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom (this has a toilet and bathtub). The house can accommodate about 8 people. Baby cot can be arranged.

A wooden boathouse is situated beside a calm waterway, surrounded by lush greenery and trees. The structure features a traditional gabled roof and is complemented by a small boat and a hammock stand. The serene environment reflects a peaceful outdoor setting.

Bright, spacious and newly renovated (2021) apartment, in scenic surroundings. 15 min drive away from Ålesund city centre. 5 min to Moa shopping center. The apartment is fully equipped, has a porch and a lovely view. Nice walking areas in the immediate vicinity. Free parking, and electric car charger can be borrowed by agreement. It is possible to rent a boathouse area, with fishing equipment, 2 sup boards and fire pit..This is agreed with the host if needed no later than the day before. Walking distance to grocery stores, pharmacy, gym, hairdresser and restaurants

The Hessahuset

Forget your concerns at this spacious and peaceful place. Amazing views and close to hiking areas, at the same time short distance to the Art Nouveau city of Ålesund. There is a short way to Tueneset where you will find one of Northern Europe's largest saltwater aquarium. At Tueneset there are also hiking trails, beach and a war memorial park. One of Sunnmøre's most beautiful "view-points" - Sugarloaf Mountain - can be found right outside the door. After a light trip of about 30 minutes you can see Ålesund in a bird's eye view, or simply enjoy the magical sunset.

An outdoor terrace features comfortable seating arrangements under soft ambient lighting. A swing set stands nearby, and large glass panels provide an unobstructed view while enhancing the connection to the surrounding landscape.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of space for fun. The house is a stone's throw from the sea where it's great to swim, light a fire, or the kids' favorite: look for crabs! There is also a short distance to great mountain hikes. Moa shopping center is 7 minutes away by car, and to Ålesund city center it takes 17 minutes by car. The house is brand new with modern decor and practical room solutions. There is plenty of room for 7 adults, and opportunities to borrow a crib and travel crib for children.

Velkommen til en moderne leilighet med nydelig utsikt! Leiligheten er fra 2016 og er en innbydende 4-roms med sentral og attraktiv beliggenhet på Hessa, kun fem minutter fra Ålesund sentrum. Lars’s place sets a high bar for Air BnBs! This place was decorated with a clean, elegant, modern style. It had the perfect balance of detail and space which allowed us to feel at home and have the ability to spread out and unpack to our comfort level. We also had the best sleep of our entire trip in this bed! The blackout curtains are very effective and the bed and room are very cozy and clean. We didn’t need the extra bedroom, but it seemed nice. The bathroom was warmed up and clean- like a modern sauna! The shower was hot with great pressure and nice soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided. The kitchen had everything we needed to cool a meal and we really enjoyed the coffee. I especially liked the nook overlooking the water- it was a perfect spot for reflection. The location was very peaceful and quiet too! Lars was a great and communicative host. I hope we can come back someday!

We booked the place for 3 nights and we felt bad that we could not spend as much time we we would have loved to in the beautiful home. The only minor drawback is the steep stairs to the main level and one of the bathrooms being in the lower level. Kinga was extremely helpful whenever we needed any information or help and also with suggestions on local activities. Great home, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful and convenient location!

Excellent accommodation, very pleasant, easy communication with William Fredrik. Everything is quiet and the whole place is well-equipped, as described and very clean. The value is quite favorable. Very well located accommodation provided you have a car. But a bus service exists to reach Alesund.

We had such a wonderful stay at Nikolas’s apartment! The space was beautiful and had everything we could need. The views from every room were also spectacular! We were able to walk everywhere we went. Nikolas was very responsive and helpful as well! I would highly recommend!

This was our second stay with Jon Robert & Anna. It is a beautiful place across a small road from the lake with mountain views - including views of waterfalls & the glacier. The apartment is decorated with personal touches, making you feel like you are at home. There are MANY things to do just a drive away. Ålesund is only an hour away. We also drove to Runde (the famous bird island) from here. Jon Robert has a printed guide book with exact routes on driving tours of the area. He is so helpful and friendly. The apartment is very clean, and in very good condition.

New funkish house, right next to idyllic beach!

Beautiful house! It looks even better than the pictures and is so spacious. We loved using the multiple seating areas, both inside and outside - especially the upstairs deck. The ferry into Alesund, just a few minutes walk away, made going into the city a breeze. Pippi is adorable and more than happy to jump onto your lap before heading out on her adventures again.

Modern semi-detached house

Fantastic house that was rented for a wedding. Tidy, great and modern, comfortable and not far away from Ålesund city center by car or boat. Really worth it for us! (I and my wife). Andreas was nice and quick to respond. We highly recommend this rental place 😊

Nice and cozy house in a quiet area, with what is needed of amenities, plenty of space and nice views. Monica responded quickly to messages, was very friendly, flexible and helpful. Very easy check in/check out, and convenient with a smart lock when we were six guests coming and going to different times. Well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms, good beds and spacious living room/kitchen. Very convenient to have all the sheets, towels and necessary items included. Would love to come back :)

There were 4 of us in Alexander's apartment and it offers ample space and is beautifully decorated. It has everything you need. It is quiet and yet close enough to most of the sights in Ålesund. The associated parking and the good information were also very helpful. We felt completely comfortable and can recommend the accommodation without reservation

This is a really lovely space, I very much enjoyed my time here. Wonderful location it’s central but peaceful and quiet with a nice view of the mountains. The apartment has everything you need and it was nice and clean, and the shower gets hot immediately and has great water pressure which I really loved! Would definitely stay here again.
