By far one of the nicest 1-BR Airbnb's we've stayed at. If you like contemporary architecture, lots of space, good natural light and an uncluttered apartment, this is the perfect spot for one or two people in Porto. Very central and touristy location, but the area is great to easily walk to restaurants, along the river or a metro ride across town. Comfortable bed in the back of the apartment, so it's a nice place to get a good night's sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped with nice tableware, a and a nice eating area. Hosts were easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

We spent hours just soaking it all in. The pool was perfect—clean, refreshing, and surrounded by scenery that made it feel like our own private paradise. Every moment here felt relaxing and memorable. What really made the stay extra special was Paulo and his wonderful family. They were warm, welcoming, and always available if we had questions. They also gave us amazing local recommendations, especially for restaurants—we had some of our best meals thanks to their tips! We had a lovely stay at Terrus Winery. The cottage was comfortable and well-appointed with gorgeous views from nearly every window and a spectacular outlook over the Duoro River from the balcony. Being able to wander to a seat in the vineyard with drinks and nibbles to watch the sun go down was a highlight. Maria was a charming host, very helpful and thoughtful. We really enjoyed learning the history of the winery and see seeing its operations. It was peaceful beautiful; real food for the soul. We certainly hope to return some day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Isabel and Igor’s apartment with views of the Duoro River. It was exactly as described and stocked with everything we needed. Even though it was in the busy Ribeira area, the apartment was very quiet. We even found a laundromat close by. When we return to Porto we will stay here again.

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

Yhe place is unique and reminisent of its original purpose. Modern interior nested within a very large original room. Several sets of doors open to the outside and coblestone street below. Walkers and partiers below could be loud at night. We closed the doors and turned on the fan which made it tollerable. We would certainly go again to this place if in Porto
