Villa vacation rentals in Suchitepéquez Department

Staying at Sandra’s was an exciting adventure from the moment of being picked up by private boat in Panajachel for my first time at Lake Atitlan. Some of my favorite things to do were swimming off the dock, and looking up at Chuk Chuk (volcan San Pedro) sitting proudly behind and above the house. Also, seeing the hummingbirds in the garden, getting to know the cats, and the neighbors dogs were fun. Was also fascinated by how many different shades of blue the water can be at any given moment on the lake. However, the most special experiences were taking to the boat to Santiago with Nico; grocery shopping. I got to meet the Tzʼutujil Mayans in their village and spend time with the community of Santiago. These interactions were always heartfelt and touching. We enjoyed learning from one another and it was a real honor to have these experiences. In conclusion, the house is beautiful, modern, secluded, and has something to offer everyone. Puro Utz!

Beautiful place very good for vacation with a family

If you wish to be in a large home and feel isolated, it is a great place. The ONLY "road" to access the homes is narow and quite rough with rocks. I had to unloaf all passengers and suitcases from the car for the last 15 minute of accessing the home as my sedan car would get stuck and need pushing. If you have an SUV it is OK

What a beautiful home with a truly wonderful staff! We absolutely love staying here. Susy is an incredible cook, and Samuel, the groundskeeper, is always so attentive and kind. The bedrooms are comfortable, and the multiple bathrooms throughout the house make it perfect for our large group of 20. Staying with Eric and his team is always a pleasure. We can’t recommend it enough!

Increíble lugar, las fotos del anuncio son hermosas pero en persona superó las expectativas. La casa muy amplia, con muchos ambientes para que, aunque hayan muchas personas, cada quien puede tener su espacio.Tiene todo lo necesario. El jardín hermoso así como la salida al lago. Muy cerca de Santiago que también la calle principal muy bonita. Don Eduardo muy amable nos apoyó muchísimo. Seguramente volveremos, muchas gracias por todo.

Un lugar privado, tranquilo y muy cómodo. Daniel estuvo pendiente de nuestra llegada y brindó instrucciones precisas. Agradecemos los servicios de Erika y Carlos que ayudaron en las necesidades que puedan surgir como limpieza, etc son personas agradables y muy atentas.

The house and location are beautiful. The groundskeeper is always available and willing to help, checking on us on a daily basis. The host provided tour services and was very communicative. The house is clean but there is some room for improvement. Please note: the house has a lot of steps/stairs, which is typical on a lake front property around Atitlan, but if you are traveling with an elderly group or disable guest, I would suggest staying at a hotel with accessible amenities. That said, we enjoyed our stay here, the views, amenities, and hot tub. PS: This is our second time in Atitlan, and we felt the prices of several services have gone up by a large margin (laundry services, home made meals, transportation (boat and Tuk Tuk), tours). Prices are going up globally so we expected a change but not as much. Expect to pay a tourist tax but pay attention. As a family, we support the local economy, and are aware and okay with paying extra but nobody likes feeling taken advantage of.

Nice home surrounded by amazing gardens in the middle of a functioning Coffee plantation. If you’re there at the right time you can see the harvest and the process coffee goes through to get to your cup. Loved the pool! Furnishings in the home were not as comfy as I would have anticipated as reflected by the price. Loved the privacy. Loved the isolation. Loved the nature.

La casa es bastante amplia y limpia, con patios amplios y bonita piscina con area de churrasquera y comedor aparte en esa área. El área de habitaciones cómoda y limpia, y baños espaciosos. Con mi familia la pasamos muy bien en la casa de Waldemar.

I really enjoyed the place the view of the lake! The Jakuzzi such a perfect thing to do with the view of the lake! Just a small note: that you need to equip the kitchen with pan and pots so people who wanna stay longer can do their food!
