NEW - Jacuzzi tub - 200 LEI/2 day stay The cabin is located in the beautiful village of Dealu Negru (Black Hill), 1 hour drive from the busy and growing city of Cluj-Napoca. Growing up on the property, the cabin represents a lifelong dream, built by the hands of my hard working father, whose talent you will notice in details all around the place (pay attention to the ceiling in particular, where you can notice mirrored wood panes, layed out carefully to represent the lenght of the tree).

Cozy converted barn with fireplace; nature retreat

Newly restored and converted barn, a magical space with lovely views of the surrounding mountains and hills. The barn is ideal for 2-3 people, but can accomodate a maximum of 5, with a double, a single and a sofa bed (access to sleeping space requires climbing stairs or a ladder). 20 metres from the barn, there is wood and a fireplace for an evening chat and stargazing by the fire. An outdoor shower with solar heated water is also available. The kitchen is functional and has amazing views!

Cheia - traditional old village in Transylvania

Cheia village is located in the heart of the Apuseni mountains of Transylvania, right next to the beautiful Ramet Gorges (Cheile Rametului) as well as three other beautiful gorges. We are surrounded by forests, majestic mountains and landscapes. The guesthouse is a renovated, original thatched house from the 19th century. Our place is remote and can be traveled on foot, following a marked trail and also be accessed by a 4x4 vehicle, but only with appropriate tires and dry weather.

Bat´s Cave Hut Transylvania - Hot-Tub & Sauna

Deep in the Western Carpathians, surrounded by breathtaking nature, spectacular views and mystical wilderness, sits "Bat's Cave Hut" - in Apuseni Natural Park. In the immediate vicinity of the largest bat cave in Europe, right on the river, you can enjoy great evenings around the campfire, in the hot tub or in the sauna. READ BEFORE BOOKING Please note that the last 30 minutes of the journey to our cabin are on dirt roads. We recommend using a taller vehicle to ensure a smooth and comfortable drive. During winter time we highly recommend using an SUV 4x4 vehicle. This scenic route adds to the sense of adventure and seclusion, making your arrival at the cabin even more rewarding. Balnaca Traditional Nook

Learn what it means to relax at our unique bohemian nook at the entrance in the Apuseni Mountains. 4G Wi-Fi and private parking are also available to ensure a carefree stay. From October 2022 the wood-fired hot tub is available for our guests as an optional feature (please ask about availability and cost when booking)

Tiny wood cottage build on top of a hill for a unique nature experience. Far away from the busy city, this is perfect for a couple who just wants to have a break, relax, hike, read. Enjoy a glass of wine from the tree terrace with breathtaking views over the valley or around the bonefire.
