The stay from Ossur was wonderful. The house is very large with lots of amenities and space. The area is residential and quiet. The view from the windows is wonderful. The house is comfortable to drive to many areas of the Islands in a short time. We had a great time! We recommend it for a quiet stay in the Faroe 🇫🇴

What a lovely place in an equally lovely setting. We really enjoyed our stay in Kvívík The Airbnb was a true gem. The traditional Faroese architecture seamlessly blended with modern comforts, provided an authentic yet luxurious experience. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance that made us feel like home. Would love to return. Thank you Súsanna.

Nostalgic house by the beautiful natural harbor

Our stay at Hans’ place was lovely. Everything was as described. Lovely nature around the house and a good starting point for adventures all over the Faroe Islands. Hans was super nice and even helped me with suggestions when I had I puncture in my car tire. He also brought a tire pump to help out. By far one of the best stays I ever booked!
A spacious living area features a black leather sectional sofa arranged around a low coffee table. A lounge chair is positioned nearby, with soft natural light filtering through a window adorned with sheer curtains. A decorative hammock hangs invitingly in the corner.

Cottage by Breiðásand

Frida's cabin was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed! The cottage was so inviting and cozy. It had everything we needed for our stay in the Faroe Islands. It made for a great base for all of our hikes in the area. It was lovely to relax here as well, and listen to the birds, wind and rain. The area was so scenic and serene. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet retreat.

Charming cottage next to the Atlantic

Shawn & RichardRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay here was a true highlight of our trip. The fairytale village of Elduvík is in a stunning location, and Aksel’s cottage occupies a prime position at the edge of it with breathtaking views of the ocean and the sheer rocky flank of neighboring Kalsoy island. You are located right at the start of a flat path leading to a gorge where we enjoyed cold plunges and watched a seal which Aksel told us loves to be sung to! Elduvik is the perfect base for day trips and even hikes that start right from the village. The cottage itself was more spacious than I expected. The high ceilings with exposed birch bark were beautiful. One of us slept in the loft which was quite comfy! I appreciated the outlet and lamp right at the head of the bed. The kitchen is tiny, but we cooked several successful meals and Aksel generously lent us some cooking oil from his house next door. He also gave us some delicious Faroese salmon he had smoked himself. Book the cottage and stay as long as you possibly can.
A modern two-story house with a dark exterior and a green roof is viewed from above. Large windows reflect natural light, and a small patio is visible in front. The surrounding landscape features rocky terrain leading to the coastline in the distance.

Unique cottage with stunning views

We stayed at Susanna’s place for 3 nights in May 25. It is a very comfortable and cosy traditional house which is equipped with everything you can think of. Susanna is a fantastic host who hast been more than helpful, attentive and very responsive not only this time, but also last year when we had to cancel our trip because of the general strike in Faroer. A true superhost!
