Vacation rentals with beach access in Streymoy

Alvur was an incredible host. He provided lots of recommendations for local sights and areas of interest in the Faroes. The apartment was extremely tidy, well organized, and with a surplus of amenities. We felt right at home, and our only disappointment was that we could only stay one night. We highly recommend!

The apartment was incredibly well appointed with everything you might possibly need in the kitchen, including a full array of herbs and spices. The owners were very helpful and always on hand in needed.

Nestled in a quiet corner of Torshavn, overlooking the water. Beautiful, peaceful, well-designed place. Would happily stay here again.

En dejlig lejlighed med en skøn udsigt. Ren og pæn. Central beliggenhed. Fin velkomst . Det eneste lille minus var manglende beskrivelse af, hvordan opvaskemaskinen startes. Alt i alt var vi meget tilfredse med lejligheden.

the view is fantastic. The house is cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is full of equipments. There's a washing machine in the house. The host is so nice.

L'emplacement est magnifique, face à l'océan avec deux chemins d'accès au bord de mer. Deux fenêtres donnent de la salle a manger sur l'océan. Tout est très calme et l'activité à l'étage très modeste et tout à fait supportable, pas gênante du tout. Le salon est un peu sombre, pas orienté vers la vue mais très confortable, avec des plaids et de confortables coussins. La literie est excellente, et la salle de bain fonctionnelle. la décoration est adaptée et de bon goût. La cuisine est très bien équipée, cafetière, grille pain, bouilloire, micro-onde et lave-vaisselles. Nancy nous a bien aidé lors du marathon afin que nous ne soyons pas coincé par les barrages. A recommander sans hésiter.

The host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was lovely, including providing some gifts to make sure we were set up for the week, recommendations, and things happening around. We would recommend this place to stay, it's only a 10min free bus into the main town or a very short drive. Very spacious with great views for ferry spotting. There's a nice cat around which isn't allowed in. We would stay here again if we find ourselves back in the Islands! Thank you Eli for your hospitality and letting us stay in this lovely flat!

Pobyt w tym domku to była czysta magia! Miejsce zachwyca spokojem i niesamowitymi widokami — z okna rozciąga się malowniczy krajobraz na wodę z górami w tle, ponadto codziennie mogliśmy obserwować pasące się tuż pod domem owce. Domek jest przestronny, czysty i świetnie urządzony. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje kuchnia — doskonale wyposażona we wszystko, czego potrzeba. Można poczuć się jak w domu, a jednocześnie całkowicie oderwać od codzienności. Dodatkowym atutem była świetna lokalizacja – domek okazał się idealną bazą wypadową do zwiedzania Wysp Owczych. Na pewno będziemy polecać znajomym!

Vi havde nogle fantastiske dage i det hyggelige hus i Seletrað. Der er en rummelig stue med smuk udsigt. Huset og faciliteterne er gode, særligt hvis man rejser med mindre børn.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem gemütlichen Haus in Leynar. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig und dennoch zentral, um die Inseln zu erkunden. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht: eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit allen Utensilien, ein wohliger Kamin für gemütliche Abende und ein Badezimmer mit ausgezeichnetem Wasserdruck. Nach einem Tag voller Entdeckungen war es der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen. Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die Komfort und eine großartige Lage schätzen.

We had a great time at Við Anna and stayed for 12 nights. The house and interior are even nicer than the pictures. We had everything we needed and the house is very cosy during rainy days (which we had surprisingly few of). We will miss the lovely place by the window where you can relax and enjoy the view. Belle ancienne maison idéalement située dans un environnement très calme. La vue est spectaculaire et la situation de la maison permet de visiter la majeure partie des Îles Féroé. La maison était très propre et très bien équipée. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

The view from Steinbjorn’s home is quite possibly the most beautiful vista I have experienced anywhere in the World. They say location is everything, and I don’t believe my experience of the Faroe Islands would have been as good had I stayed anywhere else. The solitude of Elduvík was perfect for my solo mountain biking trip, the pink sunsets at Midnight incredible, and the hot tub after a few hours on the bike the icing on the cake. The lounge and dining room are spacious and well appointed, the kitchen clean and well provisioned. I had the pleasure of meeting Steinbjorn when I arrived at the house. He is a friendly chap and is clearly proud of his home. Communication with him both prior to, and during my trip was superb, lots of recommendations for places to visit, and information regarding the village. Steinbjorn was also very attentive to any queries I had whilst at the house. I could not have hoped for a better experience.

Torben is a terrific host, making sure we were set up and letting us know to get groceries in advance because the peaceful island of Nolsoy is sparsely populated and things close early. He checked to be sure we were ok without being intrusive. Directions were spot on and check out couldn’t be easier. His liberal checkout schedule is even timed to the ferries departing Nolsoy. The cozy house is shore front with views across the strait of Torshavn and is steps to walks in the village and hikes on the north side of Nolsoy island. The kitchen is freshly renovated with overly ample amenities. Abundance of kitchenware, spices and extras.

Excelente estancia, la casa era muy acogedora y ordenada, lo encontramos todo muy limpio. Estaba muy cerca del centro. Íbamos con bebé y Helgi nos ayudó en todo momento prestándonos una cuna y una trona.

Rent och fräscht boende med alla bekvämligheter man behöver. Några minuters promenad till närmaste matbutik och till centrum. Vi tänker oss att turister på Färöarna inte tar sovmorgon, det kan också upplevas svårt att göra eftersom det är väldigt lyhört i bostaden. Man hör alla fotsteg men för oss gjorde inte detta något, vi skulle ju kliva upp för att utforska öarna varje dag. Vi rekommenderar det här boendet. Trevlig värd och bra läge!

I loved Atli’s place. It is so lovely and comfortable. It has everything you need and a breathtaking view. Atli is also a welcoming and helpful host. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation for anybody visiting the Faroe Islands.

Guðrun was super friendly and provided us with a lot of suggestions to do in the area. The place was small but nice and cozy. The furniture was brand new with everything we needed. The apartment had a nice view of the mountains around it and was in the center of where we wanted to hike and see.

Was für eine tolle Aussicht! Man hat schön Platz in der Wohnung, sie ist sehr geräumig. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht (Einrichtung ist live love laugh style). Super Gastgeber!

Io e mia moglie abbiamo trascorso 6 giorni in questo splendido appartamento. Molto pulito e funzionale. Tanto spazio, Cucina ben attrezzata, tanti elettrodomestici, una grande Smart TV, ma soprattutto vista stupenda. La posizione è ottima per visitare le Isole Faroe, in poco tempo si può raggiungere la capitale è tutte le isole. Non ci sono molti ristoranti vicino, per quelli bisogna spostarsi nella capitale che comunque dista solo 30 minuti. A 10 minuti c’è un supermercato ben fornito. Raccomandiamo questo appartamento a tutti quelli che vogliono godersi la pace delle Isole Faroe con una posizione strategica ma anche super tranquilla.

What a pleasant stay we had in Leirvík. Thorhild and Runi were welcoming and great hosts. It was a great place to explore Eysturoy and the surrounding islands and places to see. Highly recommend.
