Your flat in our half-timbered house is the ideal starting point for excursions to the Black Forest, Kraichgau or to Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. Our farmhouse is located north of the "Black Forest Nature Park". Nature invites you to cycle, hike and discover: orchards, forests, meadow valleys and high moors, gorges, streams & lakes! And vineyards. But you can also relax in our garden and enjoy local wine or craft beer. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat, turtles and sheep (not always on premise).

Straubenhardt-Conweiler is located in the middle of nature, on the edge of the northern Black Forest. The region is a popular destination for hiking and mountain biking. Not far from the house is the Schwanner Warte, the starting point of many hikes and walks. In the village there is a larger shopping center with various shops and several restaurants about 600 m away. The metropolitan areas of Karlsruhe, Ettlingen, Pforzheim and Stuttgart are easily accessible.

Views of nature, a fire pit and a hot tub invite you to slow down and let go — perfect for couples and quiet time together. Living at your own pace: Cook on the wood stove, listen to the gentle crackle of the fire and the soft whistle of the kettle. And when simplicity calls, a small electric cooktop is also available. Fewer distractions, more closeness — and plenty of nature.

Whether hiking in the Palatinate, a few days of wellness or the tranquility of nature right outside the front door - a lot can be combined in this accommodation. The pool is particularly popular with our guests as it provides refreshment after sauna and walks. Privacy is also particularly appreciated, as both the pool and sauna and garden are available for exclusive use. The pool can be used all year round, but is not heated. A hot tub is not available.

You can take the Sommerbergbahn (Funicular) to reach Baumwipfelpfad (Treetop Walk) or the Hängebrücke (Wildline). Two thermal baths and restaurants are also located in the center. A walk in our lovely Kurpark is a must. There's definitely an option for everyone in Bad Wildbad.

Newly renovated 2025 cottage on the Westweg

Relax in this special and quiet space on your hike. The cottage is quietly located on the outskirts and is in our garden. It has gas heating, a coffee maker, a kettle, dishes, cutlery, a camping toilet, a sink, bed linens, a small mini-fridge and a warm outdoor shower. In addition, there are electric blankets for cozy evenings. You can use a gas grill. Bicycles are available for two people. Nature lovers are very welcome!
