Welcome to idyllic Kvalvåg and our great cabin! Here the whole family can stay comfortably in a newer and spacious cabin with all amenities. Good hiking areas in the nearby area and a kurt walk down to the sea where there is a small sandy beach and jetty for fishing. There is a driveway all the way up to the cabin. 20 minutes drive away you will find Jørpeland with a good selection of shops and restaurants. Same driving distance to go to Pulpit Rock. We will do everything we can to ensure that you have a nice stay!

Do you like the sound of the sea and the waves, watch sea birds diving, experience that a small whale swims by, or may want to experience an eagle couple circling and plunging into the sea. Maybe you also want to dive into the sea just 2 meters from the bedroom, or take out the sup board after breakfast and paddle a little trip before going to bed and relax while the sound of waves massages the everyday stress out of the body. Enjoy the beauty of Lysefjorden and the surroundings. Great area for hiking. Ask us for good advice! We've got several good hikes and interesting sites to recommend! 🙂 Our listing is perfect for two persons. We can also welcome families with kids, but are not able to host larger groups. Pulpit Rock 10 minutes to parking. Read the reviews from past guests. The views are striking, the place is sheltered from traffic and noise. Sun until 22:20 on the longest days. Settle down for several days and go on great hikes and mountain peaks from the exit door. Five minutes hike away you can swim in a river with fresh mountain water. House near pulpitrock, amazing view. 1-6 persons

Charming old wooden house in a quiet area. Enjoy the great view over the fjord from the veranda, where you can see a beautiful sunset and enjoy the heat from the campfire. The house is well equipped in all rooms. The house is located only 7 km from the starting point of the Pulpit Rock trail. It is a 5 minutes drive from Jørpeland, wich is the town center in this area. From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.

Screened cabin by the sea, 17km from Preikestolhytta

The cabin is superbly located close to Strandastøå swimming area which is a great beach outside Tau city centre. There is good parking in the area and a large garden sheltered from other properties. The cabin is located in scenic surroundings and only 17 km from Preikestolhytta, the start of the walk to Preikestolen. The cabin was built in 1965, but modernized in 2005. It is also refurbished in 2023. Private annex in connection with three extra beds.

Welcome to our family cabin. You can enjoy the nice view over the Lysefjord, special from the terrace. It is just a few minutes from the see, where you can take a bath. The cabin has a perfect location for a lot of hikings in the area: Preikestolen, Flørli, Kjerag and a lot of other places. It is only a few minutes by car to the Forsand quay, and departures for Flørli and Lysebotn.
