Older cabin with simple furnishings and power supplied by a solar panel. Cell phone charging via USB port. There is a wood-burning fireplace, an outdoor grill (you must bring your own lighter and charcoal), a refrigerator, and a gas stove/cooking area. There are plates, bowls, glasses, and cutlery. There are also frying pans and pots. There is no running water, so we fill water jugs with clean drinking water, which can be used for both cooking and washing dishes. Welcome to idyllic Kvalvåg and our beautiful cabin! Here the whole family can stay comfortably in a newer and spacious cabin with all amenities. Good hiking areas in the surrounding area and a short walk down to the lake where there is a small sandy beach and jetty for fishing. There is a road all the way up to the cabin. 20 minutes drive away you will find Jørpeland with a good selection of shops and restaurants. The same driving distance to take the trip to Preikestolen. We will do everything we can to ensure that you have a nice stay!

Idyllic house by the lake close to Preikestolen.

Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

This house is perfect located on your way to the Pulpit Rock (4 km to the starting trek). Close to our other famous nature attractions, as the Kjerag Rock and Lysefjorden cruise. Here is several other hikes in our near by mountains and spectacular nature and viewpoints. The house has good Wi-Fi based on fibre-optic cable. Jørpelandsholmen recreation area. There is a 2 km long trail around the island, play ground for children, swimming spots, Frisbee golf course and toilets.
