There is a wood-burning fireplace, an outdoor grill (you must bring your own lighter and charcoal), a refrigerator, and a gas stove/cooking area. There are plates, bowls, glasses, and cutlery. There are also frying pans and pots. There is no running water, so we fill water jugs with clean drinking water, which can be used for both cooking and washing dishes. Welcome to idyllic Kvalvåg and our beautiful cabin! Here the whole family can stay comfortably in a newer and spacious cabin with all amenities. Good hiking areas in the surrounding area and a short walk down to the lake where there is a small sandy beach and jetty for fishing. There is a road all the way up to the cabin. 20 minutes drive away you will find Jørpeland with a good selection of shops and restaurants. The same driving distance to take the trip to Preikestolen. We will do everything we can to ensure that you have a nice stay!

If there is a little rain, you can enjoy the sofa under the glass roof with a heat lamp. In winter, you can relax in front of the wood-burning stove in the living room, or sink into the jacuzzi and enjoy the view of the sea and mountains.

Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

Great family apartment on the ground floor with stunning views to Lysefjorden. Closer to the fjord you won't be coming The apartment has a double terrace door onto the mountain. You will have a feeling of being “at sea”, once you enter the apartment. Large bedroom with double bed, with possibility to close down two extra beds if you are many people going to share the apartment. The second bedroom has family bunk with room for two downstairs and one person upstairs.
