Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Strait of Juan de Fuca

The place is small, but it is really comfortable for a few nights. It was very clean and organized. We really like the common shared area where they have the pool table, a fireplace, and some nice and cozy sofas. We went there both nights, and it was mostly empty with the whole place for us. We didn’t cook, so we cannot evaluate the kitchen.

Fantastic location, attentive host, and clean welcoming condo. Would absolutely stay here again when visiting the area. Highly recommend!

The hosts were super accommodating to a few requests we had before arrival and even getting us in the home earlier than expected. They were super communicative the whole time and assisted with any questions. Loved all the amenities and even left us a laundry card to do some laundry. Only thing off putting about the place was the surrounding area and maybe we should have done more research, but the homeless population in downtown Vancouver is scary. We watched a lot of homeless people and drug involvement around the streets of the home we stayed in and nearby restaurants.

We had everything we needed and felt very comfortable in the downstairs apartment! Easy check-in/check-out. Very responsive and friendly hosts! We would stay here again, since the location is great!

Had a great stay at Ayla's! She was a very responsive and friendly host. We met briefly when I arrived so I could get the keys. Apartment was just like the photos, clean and stocked with essentials (and a fan! Which I need when I sleep). Location was great too. I was only in Van briefly for a concert on Granville so it was perfect walking distance. Didn't have any problems with feeling safe, and while I was there on a weekday, had no problem sleeping from any street noise. Close walk to transit lines as well.

Close walking distance to everything! Had a great time exploring downtown Seattle with this as a home base. David was very helpful with check in and communication.

I cannot say enough about my accommodations, and considering that I worked remotely from it for a week, I feel that I had a good lay of the land. Very quiet place, beautiful view, and felt incredibly safe. Jane went above and beyond making sure that I got checked in and was good to go- I had a late flight and as such got in very late, and she was nothing short of kind about it. The place was spotless, the couch and bed were so comfy, and I don't even get me started on the decor. I will most certainly be back the next time that I want a remote work escape that makes me feel at home.

This apartment was perfect for a Seattle trip for 3 of us for a few nights. The building and neighborhood felt really safe, and we were able to walk to Pike Place market, Capitol Hill, and the Space Needle from there…along with walking to a ton of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The bed was comfortable, it was so helpful to have laundry access, and the rooftop deck was so perfect!!

Nice property with good sun exposure in morning and midday. Location and gym facilities excellent. The condo faces the rest of the building so you might feel a little exposed,but there are blinds and curtains, so not an issue. Annie was a responsive host.

We just had an amazing time in Robert’s place - made extra special because we could park our car easily there and go absolutely everywhere by foot! The apartment was extremely well equipped, comfortable and Robert was an exceptionally responsive and proactive host. We’ll be back!

Had an amazing stay at Kristines place. She was a great communicator, loved the place and its as described. Since its in the hub of Vancouver, we could walk to every place very easily. We will definitely come back and love to stay there. Wish her the best.

The location was within walking distance to good restaurants and popular downtown attractions. The building was safety conscious of tenants, you closed the doors behind you as you walked in. We liked how cozy the apartment was and it was very convenient for us to use the kitchen to cook dinner and breakfast. The host provided toiletries you may have forgotten to pack for yourself. We communicated with Ken and Wallace and they were very responsive to any questions we had. We received a tour of both buildings when we first checked in and we received clear instructions on how to check out. Due to being downtown, it can get a little loud from nightlife. I would wake up occasionally to some loud noises like an ambulance or motorcycle, but I was able to fall back asleep. If you plan to bring a car to use the parking garage, please be sure to test the garage keys with no other tenant cars nearby to ensure you park in the correct garage. Overall, great place and we enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay in Seattle, and this property was excellent for our family of three. Our 7 year old took the couch and we had a grand old time walking around the area and watching the sun set on the water. It was very clean and had great instructions for all areas of the property. We felt safe knowing our car was secured and we were in a great area. Wonderful experience!

We really loved our time at the Strand. It was our first extended family road trip with our little one and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot to relax, play, explore and create some lasting family memories. Jenn was personable and prompt in her replies. We really appreciated all the extra touches to make us feel welcome!

the condo is very clean, well kept, great details and in a very good location. what I did not like was the noise level. although its the 28th floor but the street and metro noise is surprisingly high for such a high floor. I would still go back again to this place as the overall stay was good. also the 3rd br is good for 1 person that is very easy going as it has no windows, no ventilation and no space to walk around. again everything was exactly like the photos so no surprises other than the noise level.

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew's. He was great to suggest local events that were happening nearby that we might want to attend. The view was magnificent and the surroundings very peaceful. Thank you Andrew for a greatl start to our holiday!

Thomas’ place was clean, tidy, and cozy! He was also was very hospitable and he was quick to respond to any messages. The place was a short walk to a Whole Foods and a few restaurants, which made it easier for us to walk to since we didn’t have a car. We’d stay at Thomas’ place again!

The accommodation was pleasant and very well located for the airport. The house itself is really spacious, our entire group of 10 people felt comfortable moving around, and all the rooms were clean. The games room is a huge plus but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use it due to our very short stay, but next time we definitely will. The heating works perfectly, as do the house equipment. The parking space was ample. There is nothing to improve, everything was perfect, we will come back soon I hope.

The whole family was impressed with the location. It was simply beautiful, with the ocean only a few steps away from the back door. We saw eagles almost every day while we relaxed on the patio, and being from the midwest we all got a kick from observing the tide come in and out. It was also a great location as a home base to drive around and see the sights. The house is about an hour north of Seattle, an easy drive. We also took a day trip to Vancouver, which was one of the nicest cities we've ever visited. The house itself was clean and had everything you might need. Even the mattress was a pleasant surprise, my bad back never bothered me, which is unusual when I travel. Highlights included a wonderful whale watching excursion we took from a town called Anacortes, about 40 mins north of the house. We followed a pod of Orcas for about an hour and a half and had a blast. I also recommend the Flying Heritage and Combat Armor museum in Everett. It has an amazing collection.

One of the most beautiful places on earth. /// This is our 3rd summer staying in the cute little town of Port Ludlow, and it was by far our BEST visit, in part because of Sandra's beautiful beach house! It's even BETTER THAN THE PICTURES. The house is pristine, full of high-end furnishings and details, like new (even though it's oceanside and an airbnb... I seriously DMed her for her secrets to keeping it so nice, because I've stayed at a LOT of Airbnbs, and this one by far the best maintained I've seen), and it's situated in the most ideal spot along the Hood canal with breathtaking water views from every room -- even in bed :) The easy access to the beach frontage was so nice too - no steep cliff or stairs to fight with, just walk right out. We timed our excursions with low tide and saw hermit crabs, purple sea stars, sea cucumbers, anemones, moon snails, herons, eagles, flounder, and more. From the deck we saw daily sea otters and seals. We will definitely stay in this house again!

I arrived to a vase of fresh picked flowers from the garden! It was a bright, beautiful space. As a single woman travelling, I was made to feel very safe in this home. Emily is an incredible host with a clean and quaint space. Will definitely be back! 💕💕💕💕

Absolutely loved our stay at Jay’s cabin! Tucked away in the woods, it was the perfect escape from city life. The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the quiet morning with coffee on the porch, surrounded by nature. Jay was a fantastic host—communicative, thoughtful, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed every moment in Fred’s house. The ocean view was truly amazing. Communication was easy with prompt and helpful responses from Fred and his team.
