Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Stornoway

Wow.. wow.. wow! Erica is a wonderful host & very accommodating - met in person and was most welcoming with lots of hints & tips about the Island. The accommodation was everything & above what we had hopped for. The location & surroundings are just magical. Ideally placed as a base for our adventure exploring the Isle - pretty much central to everything. The fixtures & furnishing are top class, with a lovely homely feel - the attention to detail is quite amazing! Congratulations & keep up the excellent work. The welcoming hamper of local produce was a boon & most unexpected - thank you. Sitting on the deck overlooking the loch & seeing a Golden Eagle flying overhead was just the icing on the cake for a wonderful stay. Would we stay here again - it’s a definite yes! Jan is a very helpful and personable host whose home is located just steps from the accommodation. Located perfectly in Stornoway for easy walking to everything, this cottage was both clean and comfortable and contained all we needed for a lovely visit to the Outer Hebrides. I would happily return!

We absolutely loved it I think this has made Lewis our new favourite island. I saw most of the marine life I was wanting to see from the balcony: seals and birds. The kitchen was great for cooking and eating in. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you for a wonderful stay x

Exceeded expectations, everything about Tigh na Beart was wonderful - the clean, tidy and tasteful decor, comfy bed and linen, all the necessary equipment and utensils, the easy walk to the nearby beach and friendly neighbours. Cannot say enough about how nice the place is Thank you again Joey and Alasdair for a fantastic stay !

A beautiful little place in the peaceful setting of Port Ness. Chris was very helpful with detailed instructions so finding the place, getting in and figuring out heating etc was super easy. The house is spotless, well decorated, quiet and comfortable - all you can ask for. Walking distance to Eoropie beach and about 40 minutes drive from Stornoway, which adds to the quiet experience. Highly recommended and would stay again

lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings, the view is amazing!! we were looking for a peaceful stay but within driving distance to amenities and this is what we got. Reef beach is very close by and after travelling length and breadth of island was our favourite. Richard was there with advice, he helped with directions as sat nav gave up, was there when needed and was a lovely host. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you. 🙂

We had a brilliant stay at Taigh Lemon. The house was spotless, well appointed and had super comfy beds and bedding. It was also well equipped for small children which was beneficial for us. Our only observation would be that it isn’t immediately obvious on the listing that the house isn’t detached and that the owner’s house is right behind it. This didn’t impact our stay at all, but we were quite surprised that the house wasn’t as standalone as we expected.

The apartment was great! It was clean, very comfortable and well laid out, walking proximity to downtown was incredible, and communication with Etta was quick and informative. She was very accommodating and hospitable. We would stay again and recommend to friends!

We stayed 4 nights during HebCelt. The apartment is in a perfect location with everything in walking distance. There is ample parking available and everything that you could possibly wish for in the apartment. Everything was extremely clear, WiFi was fast. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

A beautiful house in a stunning area. The house had everything we needed and it was all of great quality. Sandra and Kevin were so friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcome. The beach is just a short walk away, with many more gorgeous beaches in the area. We saw Golden Eagles, White-tailed Eagles, Otters and heard and saw Corncrakes. We will be back. 😀

Lovely stay in a nice and spacious apartment close to everything one could want to see or do in town - the castle is but a short walk away and having a shop right opposite the place was just incredibly convenient. We particularly loved just how comfortable and cozy the living room was with all of its nooks for sitting and reading etc., it was just lovely staying here.

Lovely helpful host. Easy access to property without having to interact with anyone. central location to shops ect and also to the castle and walks. Perfect if your planning on visiting the town and surrounding area. Thank you Malcolm

Well what can i say, its was absolutely perfect. We had just got off the ferry early and they were still preparing the accommodation from the previous guests and they let us put our luggage in 4 hours eary. When we came back we were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. Everything in its place and a vase of flresh flowers which was a nice surprise. I would highly recommend this accommodation as it stands out from others ive been too.
