This is a walk-out basement with two private entrances, and it’s own private outside area. The patio has comfy furniture with a bbq. The kitchen is small, yet efficient with large windows. The bedroom is cozy and comfy with a large smart tv on the wall. The bedroom has a 3/4 wall dividing it from the rest of the apt, but no actual door. So it could be considered a “studio”. We are steps from the trail heads into Blue Mt park. We’re also walking distance to the metro north & downtown.

Please note: Drive, walkway and entrance accessible to full size wheelchair (see photos) however the bathroom is not accessible to a wheelchair. Guest must have ability to enter and maneuver the bathroom on thier own.

A truly magical escape. This sacred treehouse was absolutely perfect - peaceful, stunning, and deeply rejuvenating. Rob and Roberta were the kindest, most thoughtful hosts I’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. Their warmth made the experience even more special. From sunbathing on the rocks and meditating in the grass, to yoga overlooking the water and cooking local organic meals - every moment was magic. Already planning my return. Lovely place with lake views. 100% happy with this choice vs other offerings in the area. House is set on a hill so you are viewing the lake from a higher spot than if you were literally on the lake. Very majestic. There are binoculars on the window sill to check out boats/things going on. I enjoyed the decor/sense of style the host has. Lots of interesting books, art, turntable, board games, cards, etc. The gardens, koi pond are well maintained. Rooms and bath upstairs do have lower ceiling but this info is disclosed in the ad. It didn’t detract from the experience. Went hiking but we were not avid hikers so learning to read the trail markers was new for us. The town is very small but we found nice spots to eat/visit nearby. We did use kitchen and coffee maker. Appliances are very new. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Cool hairdryer. Host def. appreciates design. Thank you for letting us stay a few extra hours past check out. Wonderful time! Felt like I really got away from the stress.

the place is absolutely lovely with so much to do and nina is super helpful if you need help looking. you will immediately feel comfortable here not only because the beautiful room and beautiful surroundings, but also because of how welcoming and kind nina is. the bathroom was spotless and the towels were so soft, the room was so cozy with the perfect amount of kitchen supplies to make any sort of meal. we will definitely be returning!!!

Rick and Joanne’s cottage is the ideal getaway from the city. The cottage is neat and comes with everything you need. It’s easy to get to from the train station via Uber/Lyft and close to lots of great hiking as well as restaurants and a cute downtown stretch. Rick and Joanne are also extremely friendly and give the perfect balance of privacy and assistance. They were happy to leave us be and equally happy to show us around and give advice on the area. Hoping to come back regularly!

My best friend and I shared a lovely get away in the mountains. The loft was cozy, homey, and close to all the hikes and towns we wanted to visit. The cat Dora was so cute and fun to watch in the lawn while enjoying the deck. We will be back!
