Our cottage is located directly behind the dyke. We have combined the old charm of the former lock keeper's cottage with some modern amenities and a bit of flair. Relax on the approximately 3500 square meter property with a meadow and fruit trees. Enjoy the wonderful landscape of the Oderbruch and Oder Valley during a bike ride on the Oder-Neiße Cycle Path. A house in the fields

The house is situated alone in a sea of fields, surrounded by the wind in a fantastic perennial garden. With the help of many artist colleagues and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was converted and renovated into a small oasis and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created - and is still being created - in which 10 people can be accommodated in the guest part.

Vacation home in the countryside

The apartment is located in a stylish old farmhouse converted in 2023 in the Schorfheide nature reserve, and is only a 2-minute walk from the lake, where you can swim quietly and relax. The house has a rowboat, which can be used for a fee (€10/day). From the large outdoor terrace you can watch cranes and storks in the meadow belonging to the courtyard. The Chorin monastery and the Brodowin eco-village can each be reached in 15 minutes by car (30 minutes by bike).

There is a bedroom with a double bed and on the upper floor another sleeping area with 2 single beds, there is also a second small toilet. In summer you can also meet outside on the communal terrace. The area invites you to take wonderful walks in the lower Oder valley.
