Next to an old rectory, we have individually expanded a small side room for us, for friends and guests. Some things are modern, others still have the charm of past times. Much seems to us to be coherent, some is still in the making. So nothing is standard. What we have not yet considered and is useful for guests can usually be quickly supplemented. The cottage is surrounded by a natural garden on the edge of the field, so it is located in a small, agriculturally active village.

Our forest villa, completed in 2025, is surrounded by numerous pine trees and is located directly in the coastal forest, only 200 m away from the beautiful sandy beach of the Lubmin seaside resort. This is a unique wood-clad architectural house, consisting of two combinable units. Together with the house "Gustav" and the adjacent tiny house "Franz", our modern forest villa can accommodate up to 9 guests in a unique environment directly in the pine forest.

From the spacious terrace, enjoy views of the garden and open fields. Perfect for nature lovers seeking peace and quiet, yet close to Baltic Sea beaches and lakes. The Peene River (“Amazon of the North”) is a 10-min walk. Lubmin beach is 45 min by car. Relax, unwind, and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside.

The apartment is located in a converted barn from 1896, not far from the Baltic Sea beach and Greifswalder Bodden. Throughout the property, the exposed old beams are reminiscent of the history of the building. There are sleeping accommodations for up to 16 people as well as a large terrace, a multifunctional billiard/air hockey/table tennis table and a sauna. By car or train you can quickly reach the island of Usedom, Greifswald or Stralsund.

Ziethen is located north of Anklam. The Peenetal Nature Reserve from Jarmen to Anklam is a 3414 hectare nature reserve in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, which was established on May 2010. It includes parts of the Peene Valley with peat bogs, river valley bogs, bog forests and meadows. The Peene Valley is considered the largest contiguous lowland area in Central Europe. From here you can go hiking, boating, paddling or cycling in the wild nature of the Peeneurstrom Valley and the Viking settlement "Altes Lager Menzlin." The Baltic Sea island of Usedom and the beach are 30 km away. Anklam and Greifswald are the nearest cities and are worth a visit.
