Large, cozy house in Östergötland

Welcome to this spacious two-story house connected to an active farm. Parts of the house are from the mid 19th century which is then renovated to modern standards. The house is located on a large fenced garden where the farm animals walk in pastures that you can see from the house. During parts of the year you also have the opportunity to pick your own breakfast eggs from the hens who live at the property border. Here you can enjoy life in the countryside as well as visit the Ullspinneriet in Brink, which has a spinning shop and farm shop on the farm.

Parking for two cars and the possibility to charge an electric car. You can easily get into Linköping city center by bus (about 20 minutes) or by car (10-15 minutes by car) Real beds for 6 people but extra beds and sofa bed I can accommodate up to 9 people. Rent only 2 night minimum and during June-August minimum 5 nights

Gammelgården is located 5 km north of Finspång. The cottage is newly built in the old style with moon windows, crystal crown and luxurious bedding. Sea view and spit down to City Lake, we have a small rowing boat for guests. Loans of bicycles for lovely bike rides and loan of golf clubs, Finspång has 27 hole course with pay and play. We (Ingrid and Bill and the cats Tussilago and Pantufa )are staying on the farm in an old house from the 1750s with separate entrance and parking.

Marcus is a great host! He’s extremely kind and always there when you need him. The location is absolutely stunning! You got privacy on your own little island, but if you need to get in contact with people or want to do some shopping, it’s less than 15 minutes to get there. Thank you Marcus, we had a wonderful Christmas at your spot!

Super cute house even prettier than on the photos. It had a lot of details, cozy blankets pillows, warm shoes and other great cozy elements. The house itself is located in the beautiful Swedish countryside. It was calm and very relaxing! The little house does not have radiators but offers small heaters and has a fire place. Be aware that the house only has one curtain in the sleeping area so especially during summer it is a lot of light even during the night. We will be happy to book again 🙂

The house was exactly as in the photos. They even kept the pool heating on for an extra weekend so the kids would love the pool (they did)! The kitchen is fully kitted out with everything you need for cooking family meals and the bedrooms are well laid out. The location is easy access to Bergs Slussar and Roxen lake. We had a great time! Kamal was very responsive and nothing was too big an ask (we didn’t have towels and the door lock stopped working - all fixed immediately). We’d love to stay again.

10 out of 10. From the first contact to when we left the house. The pictures match the accommodation and all the amenities were great. Comfortable beds and plenty of space.

We were a family who stayed for 3 nights in this semi-detached house. Great location to the Göta Canal and nature. Clean and nice. Recommended.

Lake cabin with amazing view

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the view and the peaceful area!! We would have loved to stay longer. The kids loved the garden to play. The small beach couldn’t be used, as the water of the lake was still high, but we enjoyed other places to swim in the area. It’s a wonderful place to just enjoy time and we slept really good with the best view. We would love to come back soon! If you like it really clean and don’t like spiders or other insects, this is not for you, but it’s well written in the manual. Thank you for letting us stay at your place, Mattias!
