Step through the private entrance and into an interior filled with bright pictures, classic photos, and typical Scandinavian decor. The apartment is the lower floor of our architect designed villa, and we live upstairs. A small shady terrace complements the 100-square-meter apartment, which also has a wood-burning stove and huge soaking tub. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a bathroom with a huge tub, a spacious dining room, a large living room with fireplace and a ¾ bed, and a bedroom with a ¾ bed. An extra bed or baby bed can be arranged. Access to washing machine. You will have access to your own private terrace, and free parking. You will have your own separate apartment with your own entrance and small terrace. You will have access to laundry room. The apartment is the lower floor in our big villa. We have lived in Aarhus for many years, love the city and will be happy to give you advice about the neighbourhood and the city. This apartment is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood only 2 kilometers from the city. Hike and bike in the forest only steps away and stroll to the beach in minutes. A short walk will reach Tivoli Friheden amusement park and Marselisborg Castle City busses is just around the corner, the light rail and train station is 3 km away. There is free parking just outside our door. But please be carefull not to park in front of an entrance) This apartment is a part of our villa in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood only 2 kilometers from the city. Beautiful home (year 2020) in a very unique location. Located right down to the water with its own sandy beach and where you can swim all year round. The accommodation contains a sauna with a window to the water, from which you can really enjoy the view of the calm water while completely disconnecting. The house also has 3 canoes/kayaks and associated life jackets, so you can enjoy one of Denmark's largest lakes, which is also connected to the Gudenåen. You can also fish directly from the house, as the lake is rich in fish.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
