Located on a quiet rural road just 7 miles north of Stephenville, this newly remodeled home is on a pond and has wooded acreage. The wide pond-side porch is scenic & great for both morning & evening use. The property is one mile from the Tarleton State University Rodeo Facility and close to Melody Mountain Ranch. The two first floor bedrooms each have a king sized bed. There is a queen bed in the bedroom upstairs and a trundle bed in the loft. The ground floor is all handicapped-accessible.

The Compass Loft is a newly refurbished, UPSTAIRS garage apartment with a vintage/boho/travel theme that reflects the spirit of our other Compass listings and is 3 blocks from TSU. The Compass Loft has it's own private entrance. The only time our paths might cross are in the driveway or at the base of the stairs. The studio style floor plan has a private bathroom and a kitchenette with a sink, Keurig, microwave, toaster and mini fridge to hold your leftovers. We also have EV charger if needed.

This was perfect for what we needed. I will say the walls are extremely thin so if you are a light sleeper I would not suggest choosing this location. We did have a wasp make its way into the unit and the property manager got us some spray in a timely manner and was taken care of.

The Chicken House - Just a block from TSU

My daughter and I stayed in Stephenville because she had freshman orientation at Tarleton. This house was exactly like it was described and how it looked in the pictures. It was easy to find, the house is literally around the corner from the college and close to everything, the inside of house was immaculately clean and organized. We loved the chicken theme of the home!! It was so cute! We felt at home there! The only thing I would change would be to put some blinds on the front door. Other than that, our stay was absolutely perfect and I know once my daughter starts college in the fall, I will be booking this home many more times!

Absolutely adorable cabin, decorated so cute. Very comfortable, on a beautiful piece of property. It was the perfect place to stay for our daughter’s graduation from Tarleton. I am so glad I booked it in September and had such a comfortable, clean place to stay this weekend. Cindy made everything so easy for us and we didn’t have to worry about anything. 💜🤍

This place is a MUST STAY. SO cute, and full of southern hospitality. WE LOVED IT! Every detail is accounted for. You also feel like you are in the middle of no where when you are on location but are walking distance from about anywhere you could want to go!
