Hortus House

Don't get fooled by the first appearance from the street! Hortus House is a unique place, located in an old house with a lot of stories to tell and a magnificent garden full of stone sculptures and trees. This is the lungs of our neighborhood! Located an easy 15 min stroll from the old center of Ljubljana, where you will find peace away from the crowds. Recently we refurbished part of our family house and turned it into a pleasant and comfortable place for up to 4 people, waiting just for you!

Easy walk or bicycle ride along the Ljubljanica river to city center. Home cookers can get everything in local supermarket to prepare your own meal.

Modern 2- bed apartment located in the center of Ljubljana. The area is peaceful, but only 10 minute walking distance from the main city square. The flat is located on the 3rd floor in an apartment building with an elevator. It consists of a bedroom with a king size bed, living room with a huge sofa, and a fully equipped kitchen. Towels and sheets are provided by me. Note: Transport from and to the airport can be provided for a very reasonable price. Tourist tax paid separately.

Beside the studio which I create from the former workshop, I provide free parking space. Studio is located just just 1,9km from Ljubljana Castle, 1km from Metelkova.Ljubljana Central Market is 1,7km from the house. It is in the quiet neighborhood. Right now they are building new neighborhood, so it can be a little bit noisy during the day. Hopefully they will end the most of the big work till summer. The nearest airport is Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, 20km from the property.

This apartment is even nicer in real life than it is in the pictures! It’s beautiful, and a really lovely place to call home while exploring beautiful Ljubljana. I usually sleep poorly, but had my best sleep in years in the air conditioned master bedroom! We could very easily have stayed much longer. I would highly recommend this listing.

Das Zimmer befindet sich an einer sehr ruhigen Lage. Es bietet das notwendige und war sehr sauber. In 5 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuss die Bussstation. Vom Bahnhof sind es 15 Minuten zum laufen. Von der Busshaltestelle geht’s in 7 Minuten ins Zentrum. Ich würde bei einem nächsten Besuch als Alleinreisender wieder dieselbe Wahl treffen. Da im Zimmer ein Etagenbett steht ist es aber auch für zwei Personen empfehlenswert.

What a gem of a place! Absolutely gorgeous. Close to Ljubljana but totally out in nature. All the small details are taken care of, everything is spotlessly clean and you even get a wonderful breakfast and local treats. I'd love to come back some time, shame I only stayed one night!

Der Aufenthalt in Ljubljana hat uns gut gefallen. Die Container sind modern und praktisch eingerichtet. Der Check-in bei der Rezeption des Hotels verlief einfach und unkompliziert. Bei Anreise mit dem Auto würden wir empfehlen, den öffentlichen Parkplatz gegenüber zu nutzen, da die Parkgebühren direkt am Hotel unglaublich teuer sind (20€/Nacht).
