The Hermannsdenkmal is about 20 minutes away. Driving time, the Externsteine can be reached in about 15 minutes. Picturesque city centers, such as Paderborn, Schwalenberg, Detmold, Höxter and Hameln are easily accessible by car. Many bike and hiking trails invite you to discover the surroundings.

Our lovingly furnished apartment is located in the climatic health resort of Nieheim. In a quiet side street and yet central to shopping, the all-weather pool and the total of 130 km of hiking trails through the unique landscape, we invite you to linger. In the apartment, which is ideally suited for families, with a size of 75 square meters, a maximum of five people can stay at the same time. Non-commercial travelers over 14 years of age must pay a tourist tax of €1 per day.

Walking and hiking opportunities can be found in our beautiful village on the Norderdich, as well as the nice restaurant "Zur Post". There is plenty of shopping for the day only 3 km away. Needs (Rewe, Lidl, Aldi, etc.), restaurants (including McDonalds) and leisure activities. It is recommended to visit the Externsteinen (7 km), the Herrmanns Monument (15 km) or the Schieder Reservoir (12 km) .

The master bedroom has 2 single beds, 180 × 200 and a sofa bed 140 × 200. The bed in the second bedroom is 140 × 200. Each room has a desk and Wi-Fi. The apartment has an equipped kitchen, a large bathroom with shower and sauna. There is also a folding bed 90 × 200, a children's travel bed 60 × 120, and a highchair.

Old mill

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy the time in our "Old Mill," where in the 19th our wheat was still ground in the 19th century. In 2019, we converted the premises into a cozy, small apartment and are now looking forward to welcoming guests to our farm who want to treat themselves to a break in nature - with walks and bike tours right next to us in the adjacent forest. Or how about just letting your soul dangle by the pond?

In my lovingly furnished apartments you will find the ideal starting point for tours around the Externsteine, the Hermann Monument and all other worthwhile excursion destinations in Lipperland. The apartments are centrally located yet in the countryside. There are shops, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance, and the Externsteine are 'around the corner.' The apartments are non-smoking apartments, no pets allowed.

Relax and enjoy the recreational areas... you can do that in our bright, friendly apartment. In addition to a spacious living/dining room and a double bedroom, another bedroom with a single bed is available. On the pull-out couch in the living room, a 4th person to sleep. The large balcony, which faces south, is accessible from the living room and bedroom. An additional kitchen balcony invites you to morning coffee :-)
