In our quiet and family-friendly vacation apartment "Am Tälchen," you can spend a holiday close to nature with a maximum of 4 people. It is located close to the edge of the forest and is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours in the "Kroppacher Schweiz." Three playgrounds are nearby and there is plenty to discover, such as Hachenburg with its historic old town (4 km), Marienstatt Abbey with its monastery garden and brewery, the Westerwald Lake District, and Bad Marienberg with its climbing park and zoo.

Waldrand

Situated on a hill in the Westerwald, close to a farm, this property is nestled between meadows and the edge of the forest. Open the door, take one step outside – and you are right in the middle of nature, no noise, just fresh air and tranquility. You will be awakened by the chirping of birds, goats and sheep graze next door, and stunning sunsets usher in the evening by the campfire. Inside, you will find a cozy bed with panoramic views, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fireplace for cozy evenings.

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

Experience the beautiful Westerwald in our spacious, bright holiday apartment on the 1st floor of a historic building, just 5 km from Altenkirchen & 12 minutes from Hachenburg. Relax in the sauna in the green outdoor area & explore the diverse hiking trails of the Westerwaldsteig & Kroppacher Schweiz. A playground is only 250 meters away. The region offers attractions such as the city of Hachenburg, the Marienstatt Monastery, Kunst im Tal, as well as the Stoffel Park and much more.

Close to nature in a beautiful house with garden / 10 beds

The old house is located in a small village on the edge of the Bergisches Land, a stone's throw from the Westerwald. The house has been renovated in recent years, only the facade is still missing. There are six rooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen, a living room in the attic and a large property (about 2,000 m²). The cottage is quietly located on the outskirts of a 300-person village, there is no thoroughfare, the main sounds are the occasional bleating of the neighbor's sheep.

Apartment by the forest / Westerwald

Our apartment is located right by the forest in the magnificent landscape of the WESTERWALDS. Near Obererbachs is the excellent WESTERWALD STEIG and other charming hiking, cycling and motorbike routes, ideal for day trips. Our village of Obererbach belongs to the district of Altenkirchen. In the village within walking distance, you will find the Obererbach train connection (one stop to the center). By car, you can reach the nearest shopping facilities in about 3.5 km.

Vacation in a half-timbered house

Our half-timbered house, completely renovated in 2020, is part of a larger half-timbered ensemble. It combines historic flair with a modern ambiance. The overall high-quality facilities leave nothing to be desired. Our village of Geilhausen is scenically nestled on the upper Sieg and has its own train connection. The banks of the Sieg, the forests and heights of the Westerwald and the Bergisches Land invite you to hike and cycle via the Sieg and Westerwald nature trails.

Vacation home Brunken Westerwald

Enjoy the impressive panoramic views of the highlands of the northern Westerwald and the tranquility of the vacation home and its surroundings. Relax under the old cherry tree in the garden or walk to the edge of the forest in a few minutes and explore a network of paths along rivers, meadows and forests. The vacation home is located on the edge of Kroppacher Switzerland in Brunken, a district of Selbach/Sieg. From the vacation home you can hike or cycle directly.

Nestled in nature, in an idyllic forest edge location with breathtaking lake views, this chalet allows you to escape everyday life. Hike in the forest or by the lake and enjoy a bike ride with our e-bikes. When it's cool, warm up in the sauna or heated pool before settling in with a glass of red wine by the fireplace. In the warm season, enjoy a swim in the pool or in the crystal clear lake (SUP/kayak are also available) before watching the stars in the evening.
