This was a wonderful place to stay while my sister and I were hiking in the area. It was close to the state parks and was a quiet and peaceful place. The decor was perfect for the cabin-type feel of the home and having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was great. The additional vanity area in the master bedroom with a sink was a wonderful bonus! We also enjoyed the jacuzzi after hiking for several hours each day, and the beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!

Jennifer’s place was awesome! Super clean and well stocked! She also was very quick to respond to any messages I sent! Would recommend her place over and over!

Starved Rock All-Season Oasis

We try to stay in the Villas when we visit family in the area. This was the first to stay at a property owned by Tom. We made the reservation at 9pm for an 11pm arrival, he replied right away. There was some type of housekeeping schedule issues, which is why this part isn't 5 stars. However, he rectified the problem right away! He also was able to assist us on several scheduling/itinerary concerns (that occurred because of me) during our stay. This villa is appropriately and tastefully decorated, very comfortable, very basic but, it's very realistic for its purpose. We will be back! P.S. The peacocks mentioned are faded out so don't use that as a destination description 🤣

We had a really nice time. This place is just like the pictures, maybe even better in person. The location is perfect and right downtown so very convenient for all the local bars and restaurants. Gentry and Kimberly were great hosts and really responsive to all messages.
