Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Starke County

I rented Leah's home for my son's. They love to fish and Leah's home was the perfect place. They enjoyed the pontoon boat and sitting around the bonfire. The house was clean and kitchen equipped with everything needed for their weekend of grilling. Leah was a perfect host. Thank you, Michelle

We had a girl’s getaway weekend at this lake house . We needed a place to simply relax and unwind, and Polly’s place provided just that. It is in a very peaceful location. We all enjoyed having our coffee/tea in the sunroom in the morning while listening to the birds. A couple of questions came up during our stay, and Polly and Jack were responsive and helpful. Polly even came over to be our photographer when we had an idea for some pictures on the staircase. She was a great sport. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the home was spotless. The fire-pit area and access to firewood was great . If there was any suggestion I could share, it would be to devise an easier way to utilize the paddle boat. We didn’t attempt it, because we don’t believe we could have got it in and out of the lake easily. Other than that, we had a great weekend. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

This was ur second stay at Andrew’s and it didn’t disappoint. He worked with us last minute to make a reservation so we had somewhere to stay. A friend of ours passed away and we didn’t have a lot of planning time. We love that the place has a pack n play, high chair, and some kids toys & dishes. Things like that make a stay with children much smoother. Thanks again for another great experience.

We were in town to visit family and the apartment was perfectly located. Clean, well-decorated, and very comfortable. Make sure you check out the bakery below in the morning!

The space is absolutely beautiful. We didn't know what to expect as this was our first time in the area, but my sister and I were very impress with the decor and nice and clean everything was. The rooms were a good size and we really enjoyed our stay. The host was very nice. We would definitely stay here again if and when we are in the area. Highly recommend.

We have stayed at locations hosted by Jennifer before and each visit has gone great. She has been super attentive both before and after the stay. Can't imagine what she could have done to make it any better.

Needed a place to stay in this cute little town for a family funeral service and it was just what we needed! Close to everything we needed and we were able to walk everywhere. Loved the big window in the living room area overlooking downtown and enjoyed the seating area across the street. The layout was fitting for our family and loved the children’s books for our youngest daughter. Cute place to stay and was clean. Host was great and responsive if/when we had any questions.

The place was amazing, very cozy Airbnb and for a great price! The view of the property from the Airbnb was beautiful and gives off farmhouse vibes, space was great for my family and I! We had some friends and family over and everyone was comfortable in the space and it didn’t feel cramped ! Very beautiful place with great home owners!

It was an absolute BEAUTY of a stay. My husband and I literally booked it last minute. (1 hours before leaving) and the host immediately responded and was so friendly and kind. It’s about a two minute walk from the beach. Very quiet, the house has a lot to culture. I felt right at home, truly. Thank you Matthew !!

Great place, centrally located. 5 minute walk to Cafe Max and Main Street shops in one direction, and the Lakehouse Grille or Culver Coffee in the other, with Papa's just a couple minutes beyond that. The patio and main bedroom balcony are great for morning coffee and enjoying the view. Suzy was very responsive to messages. Will likely stay here again on the next trip.
