Absolutely loved this place! We were all so impressed that we will definitely be staying there again.

Everything was great! We did have to hunt down some towels and the lock to the game room was not working, but the host was extremely helpful and very responsive. Would definitely book with host again he was great! House was as deceived and perfect for our family that was in town for a wedding. Loved the kitchen and the ping pong dining table was a hit with our crew! Thanks for a great stay!

We had an enjoyable stay! The house was very clean and had everything we could need away from home for 2 nights. The pool was 80 degrees and perfect for our kids!

This place was absolutely phenomenal. The house itself was very clean. It had tons of space for everyone that came down for the weekend. The game room is such a huge bonus to this stay, we ended up spending most of our time in here. The hot tub is also great and works perfect. I would highly recommend this place and plan to come back in the future!

This home is lovely. It was exactly what my family needed to unwind. We were unable to take full advantage of the pool with weather and the pool just being open, and there were tiny ants that you can tell were being addressed. The bedding was great, many cozy pillows and blankets made everyone feel at home. The upstairs are steep and a slight shift in the floor so I was nervous to have in-laws go up and down so we switched rooms- for able bodies folks there is no issue just something to note if you have more then one couple that would need accommodations. THERE is a sign noting such on the stairs as a reminder. The location was perfect. The views of the area were beautiful. I would return again!!

This place is a great rare find airbnb in with swimming pool. Although we couldn’t use the pool due to weather staying under 65F, our kids did enjoyed enough of the hot tub. The rear view is beautiful. Even the dirt clearing side view from distance is worth watching. Free firewood is definitely a great addition. There were enough chairs and towels for 10. The beds and rooms were cleaned and nice. The only drawback was the sound of the traffic as it’s right on the road but we knew and didn’t bother much and owner had nothing to do about it. Parking was more than enough and finding the place was easy. We will be back with kids when the weather is warm enough for using the pool. Thanks Scott & Amanda for hosting us.

Kari’s Airbnb was a beautiful and spacious home situated on a generous piece of land—perfect for our group of 16, with plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. The house was spotless and exactly as described, with all the listed amenities thoughtfully provided. Kari was a fantastic host—friendly, attentive, and quick to respond. When we encountered a minor water issue one morning, her husband promptly arrived with a plumber and had it resolved within a couple of hours. We truly appreciated their quick action and clear communication. It made our stay even more enjoyable! I would stay here on my next trip to Dover and would recommend anyone in a large group do the same!

MY first Airbnb experience, but I've got to say it was an awesome place to stay for the week!! TONS of room, super quiet, and watching the birds from the back porch was fun! There were a few 'hiccups' early on , but Danielle was super prompt and helpful whenever we needed her!

We loved our stay at Portage Lakes. Johnny is a great host. The house is clean, cozy, and in a perfect setting on the lake. My family especially enjoyed the kayaks! Highly recommend!!

I had an excellent stay! Everything was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped — nothing was missing. The hosts are incredibly detail-oriented, and it truly shows. Even my pets felt safe, relaxed, and completely at home. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

The photos can’t begin to describe this cottage. Beautiful views. Great porches. Lots of games for kids of all ages. It’s fantastic for a family getaway. Great for any gathering of family and friends!

Everything was perfect! Cute spot with plenty of comfortable beds clean linen and enough clean towels. Location is easy Access to food and general shopping needs. Host Julie and spouse responded quickly to any questions and gave recommendations for surrounding places to eat and shop. Not sure if I will ever need to travel this way again but I will keep this spot in mind as well as the host.

James was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. The house was well stocked with everything needed to make our stay comfortable. The bedrooms were nice-sized and very roomy. A few things I wish I would have known, Which would NOT have been a deal breaker I would have been more prepared, no toilet/restroom on the main floor, and no ice maker in the freezer. The backyard fence is not suitable for off-leash pets. I would stay again!! Thanks

We stayed here for the holiday weekend, and had a fantastic experience. It was the perfect spot for a family getaway — spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The house was very clean, well-stocked with sundry items, and had excellent amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive, which made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. We would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to return in the future!

The house was amazing. Enough living room space to hang out and enjoy the time at the house. Rooms were great. While walls were a little thin, there was no issue and the house is in a perfect spot to get to activities extremely easily.

The host was great, the house fit our needs and the neighbors were very nice.

We stayed here for the weekend. Mary communicated check in process days in advance. The home is beautiful. There are updates throughout BUT they kept so many of the old farmhouse touches. The pond is so peaceful in the evenings. There were many personal touches. They had fresh baked muffins from a local bakery, milk, water, orange juice, butter, coffee, etc. It was such a great home to stay in. Heads up…the highway is in front of the home and occasionally you can hear loud cars going by in the bedroom late at night and early in the morning. Also, you have to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the other two bedrooms and bathroom. It was not a problem for us. We had my aunt who is a night owl and early bird all in one, stay in the front bedroom. We will be back!

Ten, ten, tens! Unique, luxury airbnb experience in ne Ohio “Wow, this is a really pretty house!” my four-year-old said when he walked in. He’s right! One of the best airbnb experiences! First, the decor: this house is exquisitely and thoughtfully decorated in a way that oozes charm and character. The house is gorgeous with smart design and high attention to detail (down to pairing of paint colors). Comfortable and so cozy, too. Second, hosts thought of every detail by way of hospitality: assortment of snacks, options for water, nicest coffee bar in any airbnb, toiletries, robes + eyemasks!! Attention to detail in hospitality I haven’t seen anywhere else. Third: large, well-landscaped, enclosed backyard (not overgrown!), great for kids, with lovely outdoor sitting area. Fourth (maybe my favorite): Large, family-style kitchen (not a galley!) with big fridge and pantry, great for cooking family meals! This home was perfect for our family and kids during an extended visit to ne Ohio. <3

We had a wonderful stay at Anthony’s house while we were in town to see family. Highly recommend going to the station for breakfast. if it’s good weather, enjoy the backyard space.
