Our idyllic cottage from 1730 is located in the middle of the old village center of Wilkenburg (Hemmingen), surrounded by a nature reserve. A breathtaking swimming lake (100 m) and many paths into nature are just a stone's throw away. The city center of Hanover, the Maschsee and the Hanover trade fair can be reached in a 5-10 minute drive. Hanover main station: 8.5 km, airport: 30 km Trade fair: 5.5 km A small country bakery and a private horse farm are just around the corner.

Chalet Schaumburg

Our cozy half-timbered chalet between Bückeburg (7.5 km) and Stadthagen (7 km) offers peace and relaxation in the middle of fields and meadows. A supermarket, bakery and other shops are only 400m away. The chalet has two sleeping options, a kitchenette and a glazed area with a fireplace. A natural stone terrace invites you to relax. Horses at the farm particularly delight children. Free parking available, parties not allowed, quiet hours start at 10 pm.

In the middle of the Schaumburger Land, the house is an ideal starting point for hiking, mountain biking or even just to rest. A tiny house is available for rent in the Steinhuder Meer recreational area (Mardorf) The cottage is located on a quiet side street. The promenade is within walking distance. 10-15 minutes. There is a forest right outside the door. Behind the house is the bike path around Steinhuder Meer, so you can start right outside the front door. Daily necessities are easily reached on foot or by bike.
