The Little Lodge is located on a 7 acre gated estate in a wooded bedroom community south of the Village of Folsom. The lodge is on the property beside the main house facing an one acre horse paddock and overlooking a 3 acre pond, dock and gazebo. We are horse friendly. Attractions nearby include; Global Wildlife Center, an Alligator farm, the Bogue Chitto State Park, old town of Covington with antique shops, art galleries, and fine dining. Located on 220 acres adjacent to the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, the property includes freshwater lakes, a beach, and multiple trails for a beautiful morning or evening walk. Guests have easy access to the BCNWR for deer, hog, etc. hunting, as well as canoes and kayaks. We have blueberries, whitetail deer and chickens supplying fresh eggs, when laying.

Our Guest House sits behind our historic home in a lovely residential neighborhood. It is in walking distance to our historic downtown with many galleries, shops, and restaurants. We are just 40 minutes from New Orleans over the the Causeway Bridge. Our Guest House is done with a New Orleans feel. We have a three day minimum stay. We accept pets with prior approval. The guesthouse is not appropriate for infants or young children. We do have friendly pets on the property.
