John is a great host and we enjoyed spending a little time with him once in awhile. The place was as described and a good starting off place each morning.

Our family of five (all adults) stayed for a week at Manuela’s place, and had a wonderful visit. Manuela made every effort to accommodate us, was very responsive to messages, and gave helpful info on nearby sites and restaurants. Taking the train into London’s city center was easy— just a short 8 minute walk to one of two stations, then 20 minutes or less to the city. We enjoyed four nearby restaurants recommended by Manuela and would return to any of them again—all terrific! We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a quick but lovely stay. The house is super cute and cozy and well located. Karen and her family were very friendly and made us feel at home. We are definitely coming back next year.

Eugenie’s house was absolutely beautiful. It really is vintage heaven & the beds were very comfortable. The neighbourhood was peaceful with great transport links. I would definitely stay there again!

The four of us enjoyed our stay at Julia's place. It's a great location, and so near to excellent public transportation. The house is on a quiet, tree-lined street with a lovely view of the quay: very peaceful. Decor is modern and fresh, and the kitchen is well-equipped. I messaged our host a few times with questions, and always received a prompt and satisfactory answer. It was only a few minutes walk to the Tesco Supermarket, a shopping center, and a few places to eat. A ten minute walk brought us to the Canada Water tube station where we got the Jubilee Line and easily traveled around London. It was a real treat staying there instead of a hotel. I highly recommend this property.

Would absolutely recommend this place and would hopefully like to stay again in the future! The house is immaculate! Walkable distance to cute cafes (Sweet Carolina stood out for us) and markets. A bus ride away from the Thameslink! Really excellent and high standard finishes, quooker tap with sparkling water was a standout. The house also had a really peaceful feel to it and the downstairs blends outdoor indoor living which was super cool. Overall a really comfortable stay

Very helpful host. Even made the pull outs up before our arrival. Great location with lots of space and very walkable. Would definitely stay here again.

The host is responsive and friendly. The house is clean, beautiful and quiet, walking distance to the train station, restaurants and all the stores for daily needs. Highly recommend for travelling with family or friends.

How to start?? I would highly recommend Charles' place! When you get there and go up the stairs, you might think it's not going to be good. However, when you open the door you'll be taken back as to how beautiful his place is!! I felt right at home! Charles had wine, milk, OJ, bread and eggs. The sleigh bed was not only comfy but so pretty. He had great darkening curtains which also serve as a divider from the living room. The shower was welcoming. If I come back to London, I'd stay at Charles' place!

Hugh and Sally are fantastic hosts – very attentive and responsive. The flat is lovely and has everything you need, including a washer-dryer, which was super convenient. It’s in a great location, close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

Thank you Sabreena. We had an amazing time in Forest Hill. It was the perfect mix of city and rest and relaxation. It is a really easy walk to the station to get into central London. However the local restaurants are also really good. The house is so spacious, with comfy beds and a great shower. The parking space was also a real plus for the area. Thank you Sabreena for being a great host! We will definitely be back.

This house was very comfortable. We had everything we needed at Battersea. It was very clean just like the pictures show. It had quite space for all of us easy to get in get out and also the subway underneath was very easy to access. Faisal was very helpful we would book again whenever we come to London thank you for everything.

Great location - the apartment was in excellent condition, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Silvia who checked me in and showed me the facilities (spa facilities, lovely swimming pool, gym,...) was lovely. The location was ideal, with easy access to public transport, shops, and restaurants. Having stayed with StarHost before, I can confidently say their service remains outstanding. I'll definitely book this place again in the future when in London.

Want a nice quiet spot in West London that's affordable? This is it. Always got peaceful nights sleep and it's easy to get to the underground or walks to Shepherd's Bush.

We were looking for a place to stay in Peckham that was close to our children. That worked very well. In addition, the kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine with integrated dryer is very suitable for a longer stay The bus lines 63/363 and 78, which are important to us, are only 50 meters away We will be happy to come back.

Maggie’s place was fantastic—the perfect place for exploring Borough Market and beyond! The apartment was very clean and tidy. It was also beautifully decorated and such a relaxing place to unwind after our busy day out. The hot tub was a massive bonus—talk about luxury! Responses from the host(s) were prompt, friendly, and informative, answering any and all of my questions. We truly appreciated the effort Maggie & co put in to making our stay comfortable. The flat was perfect for our short stay in London- clean and tidy with everything we needed. It was on a quiet street and near a station which was very convenient. Alice was great at communicating with me in the run up to our stay, so everything was very easy.

Nicola was very responsive to all our questions and even let us kindly check in early after a long flight. Excellent location for O2 events and site seeing in London. The location was not busy, quiet day and night, with a light city buzz of traffic and trains in the background. It felt very safe and secure. Flat was clean, tidy, and everything you'd expect it to be and more. Hosts were lovely and very accomadating. If you are driving in there is a bonus of free secure parking nearby, so do check with the host for availability before booking your own. Plenty of transport options also, DLR (Royal Victoria), Underground (Canning Town), IFS Cable Car over Thames, and Uber Clipper boats. If you do need to be other side of river e.g. O2, getting an Uber Clipper Boat, North Greenwich underground, would recommend the Cable Car there is 10 one-way journeys for £17 per person. If you're looking for a few nights in London, I would definitely recommend this.

Kostas’s apartment is absolutely top-rate on all key measures. Modern & stylish. Very well equipped with all of the essentials one needs when travelling or on holidays in London. Reassuring security system. And, so ideally located directly opposite Forest Hill Railway Station to connect with trains and buses to every part of London and beyond. Kostas is a very accessible host and easy to deal with when one needs information or has a problem. My partner and I enjoyed our stay, immensely.

The apartment was impeccable, very well furnished and as described. It is also close to Greenwich Park where we were able to take beautiful walks with our dog. We were less than 10 minutes from the train station to go to central London. The environment is very residential so very quiet. The only small downside was the small noise from the air conditioning in the bedroom. Communication with our host was very smooth. We had a great time and would recommend the place without hesitation. Thanks Sérap!
