Le logement est vraiment calme avec une vue dans les montagnes magnifiques. Je vous recommande de manger à la maison car les plats sont délicieux ! Info utile, nous avions pris la maison car elle est proche du pic d’Adam en vol d’oiseau, mais en route de montagne nous sommes à 3h30 de l’entrée principale (Halton), l’entrée la plus proche est beaucoup plus compliquée et beaucoup plus longue (entre 9 et 13h de randonnée aller retour), il s’agit de la ratnapura road. Pour finir Aryia est super réactif et peut vous proposer des petites visites si besoin. Je recommande fortement ce logement.

Great place for convenient stay if you're climbing Adam's Peak, just a short walk away from the entrance. Place is sufficiently stocked with amenities for your rest before and after the hike. Madu is a warm and friendly host who can help you if you need transport bookings or advice on the hike. The breakfast provided is very abundant and filling. There is also food to order if dinner is needed the night before the hike. PSA: Adam's Peak is quite a drive in, do take into consideration when booking transport to the guest house. Very thankful for a good post-hike meal, warm shower, and decent bed to rest on. Would recommend!

I had an incredible stay at Nishanka home! This was truly an amazing life experience not simply an accomodation. I got to understand from inside Sri Lanka culture, Nishanka and her husband are such lovely warm hearted and good people they will do anything to ensure their guests have a unique special time. If you are in the safari parks area dont think twice, book their home! Surrounding nature is beautiful, it is the ideal place to relax. Also they provided me free tasty local meals, arranged transfers, safari and laundry. Thank you so much again for all your kindness, I will never forget you🙏

Single Rooms at Gileemale Estate near Adams Peak

Wat een heerlijke paar dagen heb ik hier verbleven 😍 De locatie heeft echt iets serene en magisch, ik ben helemaal tot rust gekomen. Ook de vele dieren op het landgoed waren fantastisch om te zien🦜 Ishantha en zijn team zijn super behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Ik zou het zeker aanraden om hier te overnachten! Minimaal 2 nachten is wel aan te raden aangezien je in 1 dag veel zou missen van het estate. Ook de Adam’s Peak is vanaf het estate te beklimmen (met auto naar de start toe) en dit is een hele uitdagende route van 12.000 stappen. Ik heb het zelf niet gedaan omdat ik voor een rustige paar dagen koos maar ik kom zeker terug om het wel te doen😏

Our best find in Sri Lanka. Hosts, Michael & Ruwanthi are so friendly & helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had a truly wonderful time. Glyn Myu is beautiful, luxurious & very comfortable. The location is quite simply breathtaking. Ruwanthi is an incredibly talented cook serving exquisite meals with most ingredients gathered from her extensive garden. Her knowledge of the dietary & medicinal properties of her homegrown larder is very impressive. She is also delighted to share her passion & knowledge. A Sri Lankan gem where we felt welcome, relaxed & immediately at home. They have a very informative website with contact details!

Great stay in Ratnapura! Everything you need is here and the by far the best part is Sampa the host who you can tell you so much about Sri Lanka, Ratnapura and the mining of gemstones. Would highly recommend staying here and exploring with Sampa as your guide!

Nimal’s place is absolutely perfect if you intend on climbing Adam’s Peak. It is literally about a 10 min walk from the entrance. Nimal is very warm and friendly, cooking us a delicious breakfast in the morning once we returned from the peak. The bedrooms are simple but perfectly fine. They are clean and comfortable which is the most important thing! There are loads of restaurants nearby too so great for grabbing a drink or some dinner. Excellent value for money too. Thank you for a great stay!
