Belihuloya Hideaway:Scenic River & Mountain Escape

SimonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had such a great time at that place travelling from Mirissa to Ella and stayed here for 3 night always extending a night cause we felt so good here! The team was amazing, super welcoming and friendly and cooking up great food!! The place was beautiful, a small tiny house just for you right next to a beautiful river! The Team helped us organizing a hike I read about which should be quite intense connecting batawalawa and bejhoija. They organized the trip with eco tours! Our guide was called Hemantha and knowing the “trail” thorugh thick jungle very good and had everything under control also against leaches! The hotel organized a jeep they own driving us 2 h through beautiful tea fields to the start of the trail! We loved it here a lot and that it was of of the typical western travel routes and a perfect Interstop between the south and Ella - and good connected by bus, like everywhere in Sri Lanka! A big thanks to the amazing team for the beautiful stay

Enchanted villa Nature's beauty, perfect comfort

CharbelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Aroshi is such a nice host, always saying yes to our requests. Suggested lovely restaurants in the area that we went to and they were great! The house is beautiful, nature is lovely. The only bad thing about this place is it’s a little hard to reach. You can only get there by tuktuks, and not all tuktuks can make the uphill. We were lucky also because her dog had puppies and it was super adorable experience. Also expect some spiders and insects since it is in the middle of the forest, but not much. Thank you!

Elephants Nest

NikolasRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had such a wonderful time staying with Sanath and his family. We immediately felt right at home. Possibly the best food we had in Sri Lanka. They cooked around 15 different curries over two dinners!! The safari was amazing, especially as Sanath is extremely knowledgeable about everything in the area. It also felt really nice to get to know Sri Lankan culture in such a nice atmosphere. Thank you!! We will be back for sure:)

Mansala Safari House

VictoriaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My Sri Lankan friends had to say this about their stay with Tiron: “I had a wonderful stay at this guest house! The rooms were exceptionally clean and very comfortable, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The peaceful environment added to the overall sense of calm and made it a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared, a great way to start the day. What truly stood out, though, was the hospitality, the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure guests felt cared for. I highly recommend this place!” Thank you, Tiron, for the great stay and arranging the safari!

The apartment was very beautiful and clean. You will stay in the middle of nature and it is very calm. You can book a Safari directly here and the Udalawale national park is worth visiting. The people are very friendly and helpful.

Comfy Rooms with Mountain Views Near Adam’s Peak

BeatriceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Nimal’s place is absolutely perfect if you intend on climbing Adam’s Peak. It is literally about a 10 min walk from the entrance. Nimal is very warm and friendly, cooking us a delicious breakfast in the morning once we returned from the peak. The bedrooms are simple but perfectly fine. They are clean and comfortable which is the most important thing! There are loads of restaurants nearby too so great for grabbing a drink or some dinner. Excellent value for money too. Thank you for a great stay!
