Perfecte locatie, goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding (€25pn). Deze plek heeft heel veel potentie maar door wat achterstallig onderhoud, matige bedden etc. wordt deze niet benut. Door dit alles is €25 voor deze plek een eerlijke prijs.

Samith was extremely helpful and responsive. The hotel is beautiful and we chose to stay in the stylish wooden beach chalets. As an eco lodge, there is no air conditioning but the fans and chalets were perfectly cool. There is also no heated water but so the showers are warmer in the afternoon on a hot day but cold all day if it’s a cloudy day! Kalpitiya is very windy, and therefore, a great destination for kite surfing which was really fun, even for a beginner! It is a great alternative if you want some peace and quiet. The food was fantastic, especially if you happen to be there for their bbq nights which has seasonal produce including fresh fish, squid, prawns, chicken etc. The only slight criticism is that some stretches of beach are littered with plastic, which is common to other parts of Sri Lanka, although it is clear that the hotel has made efforts to go green and I would thoroughly recommend it!

Wij verbleven twee nachten bij de Hideout, maar ik was er graag nog langer gebleven als dat mogelijk was geweest! Ik heb het hier erg naar mijn zin gehad! Dit appartement bij de Hideout ligt op een prachtige plek tussen de rijstvelden. Vanaf een uitkijkpunt kan je deze mooi zien liggen. Ontbijt, lunch en diner is ontzettend lekker. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk, staat altijd voor je klaar en wil je overal mee helpen. Ze hebben een groot en schoon zwembad, om lekker in af te koelen. En het gehele terrein waar de appartementen op te vinden zijn, is erg sfeervol. Het appartement heeft alles wat je nodig hebt; lekker bed, warme douche, veel ruimte. Ook het appartement is schoon. Het is een rustige omgeving dus je hebt geen tot weinig last van omgevingsgeluiden. De Hideout is een paradijs tussen de rijstvelden! Ik kan het appartement iedereen aanraden!

Great little resort. Lovely setting with a great pool and on-site restaurant that serves good food. Nice day spa and gem store on site as well. Would highly recommend this place.

The stay at Dushan’d and Bandula’s Winmi Resort was very nice. It was a very peaceful place. The. Place was very well kept and clean. I can recommend the place to any other guests.

I recommend this place for all. Best hospitality, hotel very cute, good view and good personal. Monkeys also) in evening you can pass time near swimming pool. Not far from centr, but you can rent tuk-tuk. Here very fresh air.

Overall very satisfied, this place is remote and little hard to find the place as there is no road for last few hundred meters. We went at night time so we felt hard, may be if you go in day time it might be easy. Host is very friendly and response is very quick and food is very tasty and felt like home. Water body near the place is highlight. Place is very private and not like other tourist spots. Thank you for hosting!!

A great hotel, that has unbeatable views and location. We loved the pool and our large room with very good AC. The shower was good and always hot. It was nice we got beach towels and bath towels unlike other places we have stayed. The staff are friendly and the security guards were helpful and made us feel safe. The hotel could do with a few extra touches and re-decoration, but for the price it is a great stay. I would come again!

메니저와 직원들은 너무나도 친절했고 관광지나 모든 주변에 대한 정보를 친절하게 알려주었다. 숙소는 깨끗하고 주변의 자연경관 또한 훌륭했으며 캔디로가는 버스정류장이 일분 거리에 있어 편안했고 직원들은 버스정류장까지 배웅해주었다. 너무나도 친절하고 아름다운 위치의 숙소에 머무를 수 있어서 우리가족에게 큰 행복을 주었다. 너무 감사합니다

Thanks to Jay and all his staff for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable. They were so kind and considerate; we felt totally relaxed after the first day. The food was delicious and great value for money. The rooms, swimming pool, restaurant and lounge are all beautiful and look better than the photos! Sethawadi is without doubt the best resort in this area if you are here to kitesurf or want a base to visit all the amazing sights of Sri Lanka or simply want to chill out for a couple of weeks in lovely surroundings. Kitesurfing was excellent with great access from Sethawadi as it's bang on the lagoon. The view from all rooms is delightful and looks directly onto the lagoon where fisherman still use traditional brightly painted canoes to fish. The pool is big enough for swimming lengths and we spent hours on the comfy beds surrounded by palm trees. The service at Sethawadi is exceptional, the staff just cannot do enough for you. No matter how hard I try I cant fine one thing I didnt like about the place, If we can we will definitely return next January!

We hadden een fijn verblijf met een mooie tuin bij Dudly en familie. Hartelijke personen die betrokken en eerlijke dienstverlening hebben. Met leuke tips en aanbevelingen. Ook hebben we heerlijk gedineerd aan het zwembad. Bedankt!

Very tidy and lovely apartment. A Very good bed and big clean bathroom. Dimantha and his family are greate hosts and allways there when you need them. Food was super tasteful and huge. Thank you for everything! Sanja&Sara&Matej&Rajko

Da ich mit dem Zug schon sehr früh morgens eintraf, konnte ich um 06:30 nach Absprache schon einchecken. die Reception ist immer erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer ist so gross und die hohe Decke gefällt mir äußerst gut. Man hat sehr viel Platz, es gibt auch eine Terasse sowie private Aussendusche wenn man nicht drinnen duschen möchte. Ich kann diesen Ort sehr empfehlen. Fitnesscenter müsste man wieder frisch und ready machen, jedoch lässt es sich gut trainieren. Ich empfehle aber auch Sonnenaufgangs Spaziergänge zu machen. Danke für den angenehmen Aufenthalt und bis bald wieder. (ps. falls du mit Kindern reist, die haben einen riesen Pool zum spielen.) 🦦🌴
