Vacation rentals with a patio in Sri Lanka

I was searching for a place to establish a home base for my trip when Ann's property caught my attention. I was captivated by what it had to offer in the photos, so I booked it with great excitement. Ann was incredibly responsive and helped me plan my trip accurately by being flexible with my dates, ensuring I felt right at home from the very first day. When I arrived, I walked onto the balcony, which provided a serene view of the Ahangama ocean. The apartment was exactly what I wished for and more. It was very clean, tidy, and thoughtfully furnished. The apartment truly felt like a home, helping me unwind each day and wake up refreshed for the next. I would also like to extend a special thank you to Ann and her team, including Mane, for being exceptional hosts who always greeted me with a smile and provided thoughtful care. My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks as we wanted a relaxing holiday to South Sri Lanka. We were very pleased with our stay. The apartment is in a fabulous location making it very easy to walk to breakfast/dinner and beach front bars in the evening. La belle on the doorstep of the place is great for sunset. Gianluca is a super friendly host, was very helpful, always responding quickly, he also arranged a bike for us for our stay which was very helpful. The apartment was cleaned regularly & we were provided with fresh shower & beach towels. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at this house for 10 days and absolutely loved it. My partner and I were warmly welcomed by Chandana and his wife, who were both fantastic hosts — kind, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. The house itself was spotless and perfectly organized. Cleanliness and attention to detail were top-notch. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay — truly everything you’d expect from a perfect BnB. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended!

The location of the AirBnB is in a wonderful clean and safe neighbourhood next to a lake and a walkable distance from some really nice restaurants and few tourist spots. The place is gated. The rooms are super clean, spacious with a lot useful amenities and a lovely hall. The check-in process was super smooth and Surekha, our host, was very kind to wait till late evening for us. Surekha is amazing, not just as a host, but she is a lovely person to talk to. She made sure we were comfortable and also gave us a much needed run through of what we can see in Colombo — even outside of the usual tourists spots. She went out of her way to send us a comprehensive list that made our last day in Colombo even more special and worthwhile. All in all, we would definitely recommend staying here and hope to come again.

Amazing apartment in the luxury area of Colombo. It had everything we needed to get used to the new time zone and explorer the city of Colombo. I had to work as well with made it a great place with the good WiFi and comfortable setup. Definitely would book this place again!

It was a great stay at Sara’s house. Everything was sparkling clean and comfortable. Very quiet environment, no noise from the street or other apartments. View of the ocean. Clean and well maintained facilities.

Wish I owned this apartment. Felt like I was home. AAA+ rating. If I come back to Sri Lanka I am booking this place again. hand down the best Airbnb place i rented.

Mit Abstand die absolut beste Unterkunft die wir jemals hatten. Schon von der Kontaktaufnahme bis hin zum Check out einfach alles super. Charith und Tharaka sind die Perlen des Hauses. Wir wurden während unseres Aufenthalts liebevoll umsorgt. Charith überraschte uns jeden Morgen mit einem leckeren Frühstück und ging sogar auf die Sonderwünsche der Kinder ein. Die Villa wurde täglich gereinigt, frische Blumen standen auf dem Tisch... einfach liebevolle Detailarbeit. Es ist ein super gemütliches offenes Haus, mit großen Räumen ohne unnötigen Kram, aber viel Liebe zum Detail. Die tolle Aussicht vom Pool über die Reisfelder und gleichzeitige Privatsphäre spricht für sich. Wer sich hier nicht wohlfühlt, dem kann tatsächlich nicht mehr weiter geholfen werden. Zusammengefasst: Urlaub vom feinsten ab der ersten Minute.

We loved staying at Shaun’s villa! Out of the eight places we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka, this was our favorite. The location, the villa, and being so close to the ocean was just what we needed. The villa was clean, well looked after, and felt really welcoming. Whenever we had a question, we got a quick and helpful reply, which made everything super easy. We also really liked the great food just across the street, which we could easily order to the villa. And being close to The Doctor’s House was a big plus – fun weekend market and tasty dinners in the evenings. We’re a family of four and felt super comfortable here. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back one day!

Sanjeewa and the team were extremely friendly, professional and accommodating. The property is spectacular and is like taking a step back in time and very well maintained. The pool area was amazing and the chef did an amazing job for breakfast and dinner with an abundance of food for us. Would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you all so much.

I had a fantastic stay at Green Leaf Apartment! Everything was perfect. The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as shown. The host was super friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a real highlight of my stay. I felt very comfortable and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for everything!

We verbleven 4 nachten in deze airbnb. Ons verblijf was werkelijk geweldig. Het huisje is perfect en het is duidelijk dat de hosts oog voor detail hebben. Er is aan alles gedacht. De directe toegang tot het strand maakt het een droomplek om te verblijven. Khasturi en de andere vrouwen die dagelijks ontbijt brachten, waren enorm bereikbaar en vriendelijk. We maakten gebruik van de driver die door de host aangeraden werd: super vriendelijk, bereikbaar en goede prijs!! Aanrader! Ik was graag langer gebleven :)

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. LIVING ROOM DOESN’T HAVE AC AND EVEN ROOM AC IS SMALL COMPARED TO ROOM SIZE SO COOLING IS LOW. SWIMMING POOL WAS NOT CLEAN.

I can’t express enough how much me and my girlfriend love Sebastian’s place. The whole experience, from the first message to the checkout, was top notch and you can really tell that Sebastian knows what it means to be a great host and that he knows what great hospitality means. The room and amenities are accurately described both in writing and photos. Everything’s super clean and comfortable, and you do feel pampered here. He also added smaller touches to elevate our stay. The garden is beautiful and the pool is clean and big. Sebastian has two helpers taking care of the hard work as well as the smaller details, and I really want to give them a shoutout for their amazing work and service. They’re very diligent, polite, friendly, yet you barely notice them doing their work. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Sri Lanka, and we look forward to it!

My family and I would like to thank David & Sameera for allowing us the opportunity to stay at this beautiful place. The villa is exactly like the pictures ,had everything we needed and more , the views are incredible the perfect relaxing place. We will definitely come back , has everything on your door step within walking distance to some beautiful bars and restaurants. We also felt very safe with the security in the evening which is a wonderful service .

Die Wohnung ist einfach ein Traum. Sie ist super modern, richtig schick und der Ausblick vom Balkon ist einfach atemberaubend. Kanil ist ein super freundlicher, höflicher und hilfsbereiter Mensch. Wir sind mit dem Bus angereist und er hat uns vom Busbahnhof abgeholt, sowie bei Check-out zum Bahnhof gefahren. Die Wohnung ist etwas außerhalb, aber definitiv den Weg wert. Wenn wir wieder nach Kandy reisen, schauen wir hier bei ihm zuerst nach.

Very nice stay with this lovely family! They are very loving and truely cared about me. They made some food and shared it. Everything what I needed was there. Would highly recommend as a homestay.

We had a wonderful stay at Ghazzali’s apartment. It was perfectly clean and tidy and we felt right at home. The amenities within the apartment were very helpful as well as the pool area and very easy access to the beach. Ghazzali was very responsive with messages and we greatly appreciated him hosting us on very short notice. We were extremely impressed with our stay. 10/10. Would recommend to all, especially families.

As per the pics and Ramesha was a great host. Late check out was available which was really good. AC worked well and washing machine was fab. WiFi also fast and easy to connect to. Rooftop gym and pool also good.

Was very pleased with finding this apartment as it was in a very convenient location making it easy to go to all the places we needed. The apartment is exactly like the pictures- the ideal size for a small family. Loved how elegantly it was furnished as well, and included all the amenities we required. It’s also fairly spacious for a one bedroom apartment which made it easy to keep our toddler. Eresha is a lovely host, very responsive to all my inquiries and very understanding to our needs. The security is also also very helpful and friendly, which made checking in a smooth process. Highly recommend this place and will definitely book again!

This was the BEST place we stayed at for the entire trip in Sri Lanka, even though other locations were pretty good too. What made it different is the level of attention everything was given. it did not feel like renting out bnb, it is a fully furnished apartment that feels like home. every single thing is well thought out, and nothing lacks. it is simply a piece of heaven and most beautiful. highly recommend to anyone and wish we could have stayed longer. The host family went out of their way to help us around too. They even let us check out later because the flights were in the evening and rode us to the airport. my friend's review was that: - Well furnished apartment, great and considerate host family who make you feel at home - small details are attended to - Value for money and a joy to live in ...to say the least! thank you so much Anuka, Nilan and Janani for giving us a home away from home. Beautiful pristine apartment in a very good location. Pool area very quiet and a great place to relax. Excellent security, felt extremely safe. Overall we were extremely happy with the apartment and we have no issue about recommending this apartment.

Modern and spotless apartment with great air conditioning. Pool and gym were excellent. Would definitely recommend, particularly as Uthay was flexible with the check in and also gave us a late check out.
