On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Quiet, peaceful, with stunning views of fjords and mountains, less than 10 m from the waterfront. 70 m2 plus large room at the jetty level. Unique design, large window surfaces, and rooms on multiple levels. One bedroom with a double bed, and a large sofa bed in the loft/TV room. Tiled bathroom by bedroom. The lower floor with double gate, view of the fjord, and with its own toilet/laundry room and fridge/freezer.

The apartment is suitable for many types of guests: couples who want a quiet weekend trip, families visiting, or people on business trips in the area. The apartment has a private entrance, is bright, and was newly renovated a few years ago. You have your own lawn for your free use. Here you live centrally in Spjelkavika, just a few minutes from Moa shopping center, cinema, swimming pool and great hiking opportunities. Ålesund city center is about a 10-minute drive away. Although the public transport is good, we recommend a car.

Annex with amazing views

Enjoy the wonderful view from this idyllic storehouse located on Valderøya outside Ålesund. The hayloft is over a hundred years old, but it has been renovated. NOTE: The storage room has electricity, but not running water or a toilet. Guests can use shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away. The bathroom in the main house is only used by you guests and access to the rest of the main house is closed off. There is 5 gallons of water available in the fridge. Welcome to my apartment in a peaceful and modern residential area in Spjelkavik. With a multitude of trails and hiking opportunities just outside the door, this is an ideal starting point for outdoor enthusiasts. The Moa area, with its shops and cafes, is only a 15-minute walk away, and there are also good bus connections to Ålesund city center. Grocery stores are only a five-minute walk away. For families with children, it is worth mentioning that both primary school, stadium and kindergarten are nearby.
