We have reopened our cabin to our guests. We offer beautiful views of the mountains and Lake Algonquin. We have kayaks for the summer on the lake , you can snowmobile or snowshoe from the back door. the fishing pier is directly out front.We have one full size bed downstairs and a double in the loft, not much head space, but still doable. There is no sofa bed, just a sofa .One bathroom and a kitchen full of all your needs.

We selected Home in Piseco because of its location in the Adirondacks and proximity, to our homes for a relaxing weekend get away. The home is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Even though the weather was rainy we’re able to get out and enjoy a nearby hike to Kane Mt. Fire tower. Though the rain kept us inside music of the time, the views of Panther Mountain and Piseco Lake from the windows were amazing.

Our stay at “A Cottage Friday” was truly wonderful! We had a small and quick Memorial Day weekend getaway from the busy life at home; we were disappointed when we had to leave! The home was just as described; it was bigger than what we had expected! It was only 2 adults & a pre-teen; this place could easily hold the maximum of 7 adults as described. We were able to rent a boat at the motel down the road with ease allowing us to enjoy our favorite activity of boating on the lake & fishing! As our son stated “this vacation was awesome” !!

This is a great location, close to Speculator and surrounding locations for hiking and enjoying the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. Erika was helpful and responded quickly.

The chalet is illuminated by warm outdoor lights, highlighting its A-frame structure. Surrounding trees and foliage create a natural frame, while the cozy deck invites relaxation. Evening skies are deepening, adding a serene atmosphere to the scene.

We had a wonderful experience at the Dizzy Dear! Michael made our little getaway feel very special. We loved seeing all the deer and turkeys in the backyard! Great location, beautiful chalet, and plenty of space to spend time inside or outdoors. Will definitely be back!

Felt like it was my own place - very clean and tidy, and NO musty smells or smelly air freshners. They thought of everything when stocking the cottage, inside and out. Well cared for and tastefully decorated. Absolutely loved the peaceful, waterfront setting. Very accomodating and responsive.

A spacious loft area features exposed wooden beams and a large window allowing natural light to fill the space. A smart TV is positioned on a low console, while a cozy rocking chair occupies a corner, creating a welcoming place for relaxation.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin and visiting Speculator. We also drove to Schroon lake the second day of our visit. The cabin was cozy and peaceful, thank you for a relaxing weekend!
