Great little cottage, clean and neat, close walk to the beach if that's your thing. Quiet, small KZN South Coast beach town feeling.

This was our second time staying in this home, and we loved it yet again! Amazing location and views, great beach vibes and a spacious, comfortable and interesting house with everything we needed. While some of the interior decor looks a little tired, this seems to be due to the natural effects of a coastal location, and it didn’t detract from our stay. The maid, Mosley, was efficient and unobtrusive, and paying her a little extra to come in every day was totally worth it!

The perfect spot on the coast. The house and the views are just fantastic. And the help, Doris, is the sweetest lady. The beach is just outside and the area feels safe. Thanks! We were 3 familes - 10 people aged 12-61.

A little piece of heaven. Right on the beach - it’s surreal. Lots of space to grab a quiet moment or converge together over a meal with the sea as a backdrop. The house has everything you need and more. Thomas is quietly unobtrusive and very efficient at looking after the house and comfort of the guests. Highly recommended.

Our stay was comfortable and we loved that we were just a short walk from the beach. Pieter and Velosh are extremely accommodating- with us and with our dogs. They made sure we felt right at home! Pieter’s communication was fantastic and very responsive.

An amazing place was beautiful and clean, had a super amazing host who was considerate and accommodating we will definitely be back it was just as described in the pictures. We really fell in love what a gem!! We really felt at home. The house has everything you could need on your vacation to make life so much easier.

At first I wanted to give a bad review, just so that no one else discover this beautiful gem in Southbroom, but alas I can't. The house is absolutely stunning, with everything you need, a home away from home. The house is beautifully decorated, one immediately wants to treat the house and everything with respect. Kim's attention to detail, welcome note, Christmas decorations, communication throughout our stay was excellent. Billy her husband assisted us with something small that had to be repaired and arranged someone on Christmas eve. Billy also notified us throughout our stay of what is happening in and around Southbroom. The house is perfectly located, easy to go for walks on the beach, trails, shops, restaurants, golf, padel, everything on your doorstep but still in a quiet and peaceful street, which is difficult during the festive season. Thank you Kim and Billy for sharing your beautiful home with us, this will definitely not be our last visit, hope to do so soon again.

It was just what we wanted a little bit of peace with the ocean at our door step. The house could do with a few upgrades but thats life living at the sea and the salt sea air, it won't however stop us from staying there again! It was safe and had everything we needed for our stay! Thomas the caretaker was there for anything we needed, he was also not intrusive and left us to do our thing! We didnt want to leave and again would definitely book another stay there!

Stunning apartment right on the shoreline. The apartment was modern, spacious and very well maintained. The large balcony was perfect for evening braais and we spent many happy hours up there watching dolphins and whales playing in the ocean. A two min walk to margate beach and an easy drive to all local amenities. Can’t say enough about the place, we loved it!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beach house! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how luxurious and modern the property is. The space was incredibly comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully designed to make our stay feel like a true getaway. The open-concept living area, state-of-the-art kitchen, and spacious bedrooms were perfect for our family. We especially loved the breathtaking views from the living, 2 of the bedrooms and the relaxing outdoor space. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the beach atmosphere. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, and a short drive to swimming beaches. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. We truly couldn't have asked for a better place to stay – highly recommend it!

Our stay at Zsolt and Debbie’s place was truly exceptional. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to extend our stay by an extra day. It was the perfect spot for a quiet and restful week, offering breathtaking views from sunrise to sunset. Bird watching is an absolute must and so glad we managed to spot the African Eagle every now and again. The views! The beach! We couldn’t get enough! The kids had an absolute blast running up and down to the beach, and we felt completely safe the entire time.

Gertie was incredible, ensuring we had everything we needed. She was so friendly and always willing to assist with anything. The decor was beautiful, minimalistic, and luxurious. The bedrooms were spotless, comfortable, and catered to everyone’s needs. I particularly appreciated the spaciousness of the home, which allowed everyone to have their own privacy.

This was definitely one of my top places to visit. Can’t wait to go back again.

What a magic place! The sea views from the lounge, and the patio and from two bedrooms is just stunning. It's such a beautiful apartment and there's plenty of space inside. We were 6 people and never felt in each others way. The two main rooms upstairs are large and the 3rd bedroom is perfect for kids (or even teenagers). The decorations suit the apartment beautifully. It is clearly a loved space and we had such a relaxing time here. The main beach is 2 blocks away so it's perfectly located to walk to the beach or lagoon or tidal pool. There is a shower in each bathroom as well as an outside shower. It's a few minutes walk to Southbroom village centre where there are deli's, shops and restaurants. We love the area and this is a great apartment to relax and enjoy your holiday at.

The host was super gracious and accommodating, she is one of the kindest airbnb hosts. I recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely come back.

Very Highly recommended!! Dirk is a fantastic host. Very clear instructions. The views cannot be beaten. You will not find a better ocean view. The complex is ON the beach. You just walk down the stairs and your feet is in the sand. Trafalgar beach is amazing!! The accommodation was perfect for the 7 of us. 4 Bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Cutlery was prestine. Great big dining room table. The braai area and pool was prestine. The Dassies sitting in the sun on the lawns was a highlight every morning. I cannot compliment this place enough!!! We will definitely visit again! Do yourself a favour and book!

A lovely, comfortable apartment with an amazing view of the beach and ocean. The host was very responsive and gave clear check-in instructions.

We had a wonderful stay at Jane's place with our toddler. Walking distance to the beach, wonderful hosts (including an over familiar cat!), lovely views. Highly recommended.

We had an incredible stay. Lee-Roy was very good with communication from the day I made the booking, until the day we left. The place is immaculate, with a beautiful clean beach basically in your back yard. The yard is fenced in and safe for pets. Veronica, the housekeeper was great, so kind and helpful and always on time. The house is spacious and I love they they even prepared little beds for my doggies, the attention to detail is so appreciated. We had an incredible stay and it was definitely value for money. A very kind welcome gift also waited for us which was so kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend this place.

This a really nice apartment in a good location and secure complex. It’s neat and has good and comfortable furniture. A few hundred meters to the beach with great views and right around the corner from supermarkets. Many great dining options close by and lots of activities close by. This will apartment will always be my first choice when looking for a place to stay on the KZN lower south coast.

We had such an amazing stay at this beach house! The location was perfect,just steps from the sand with beautiful ocean views. The house itself was clean and cozy. One of the best parts was the housekeeping service. it was such a nice touch to come back to a fresh and tidy space after a day at the beach. The whole experience felt relaxing and effortless. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

The location was great and the estate offers a nice pool and 2 beaches, one more private and a lovely public beach. There is no pool in the actual villa, but the clubhouse pool is a short drive away. The villa is very spacious and great for entertaining. We had a very pleasant stay.

This apartment is truly a lovely place to stay. Beautiful apartment, everything we needed and a view to die for. There are 13 steps going up to the front door, but not a major hassle. I highly recommend this accommodation. Great hosting too. Responsive and helpful.

Dear Carol and family, thank you for being such amazing hosts.We got exactly what was advertised, a beautiful cottage, with a stunning view of the beach. The cottage is spacious and beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We could park our car and walk to most beaches and shops around us. Our unit was very private and clean and the hosts just a call away if we needed anything. They were so generous and even surprised my daughter with a lovely easter basket. We are so glad we booked this unit and had a wonderful weekend.
