Pet-friendly vacation rentals in South West

This air BnB was perfect. We have 3 boys ages 2,6 and 9 as well as a dog. The house was perfect for our family we didn’t need to worry about what the toddler would get into (or the dog) and had everything we needed. The ice creamery was in walking distance and had a little park. The local beach was dog friendly. We found so many hidden gems.

We had the most wonderful stay in Cairnamohr! Jill gave us everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, including arranging a cot and high chair for our daughter. The house is extremely spacious and well equipped with cooking items. The beds were really comfortable and we were very happy there for six nights. The house is on a very quiet cul de sac where you can spot kangaroos! It's a ten minute drive from several fantastic beaches. We would most definitely stay here again when we are back in the area - would recommend!

Great house for couples and awesome setup with the fire pit. Dog friendly should be enclosed backyard we think or to make sure it’s specified on it as open backyard with neighbours 10 meters away. Great trail walks for dogs but all in all a great experience.

Had a great time at Melissa’s place. House was spacious and comfortable and well located close to supermarkets and bottle shops. Convenient. We enjoyed “The cure” coffee shop in less than 10 mins walking distance. Only thing is noise does tend to travel to the room in the front of the house from the kitchen and rest of the house.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is lovely with ocean view. Gracetown is very quite and surf is on your door step so it was perfect for us. Definitely recommend it! Thank you Gen

The house was clean and tidy with everything we needed including beach towels. Located in a quiet street and an easy walk to the beach and town, the house has great kitchen and laundry facilities. Although we didn’t have a dog with us, the house is set up very well for dogs. One bedroom has an ensuite which was a bonus. Janette gave us lots of local recommendations which was appreciated. A very comfortable house. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful stay at The Tree House, the house was beautiful and perfect for families. Location was really quiet and peaceful with lots of space outside for kids to play and a great selection of activities kids in the house. Eve went extra mile and gave us a relaxing bath with essential oils and bath salts all prepared.

We had an amazing weekend stay with the 4 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of room! The location was incredible, so quiet as well. We loved the outdoor firepit, plenty of wood provided...as the house gets very cold. Only issue was two of the windows in main bedroom didnt have blinds, so it got very light in there early...made it tough to sleep in. But overall an amazing weekend.

Absolutely loved our stay! The location was fantastic, the home was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was easy and seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend this place – we’ll definitely be back in the future!

Gill’s place was perfect for our days exploring Margaret River area. Great amenities and comfy bed. The open plan space was excellent. We enjoyed the garden and BBQ, and loved the peace and quiet. Gill and Steve were very helpful and hospitable. We would love to come back sometime soon.

Moondyne is as described. Very peaceful location and close to town. As it was a cold week when we stayed we were a bit concerned that the heating would be sufficient. But the wood fire and room heaters were more than sufficient. Beds were very comfortable. The space was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 3 children as well as the dog. The inside and outside are both very well maintained and everything we required. The lawn space and garden provided plenty of space for outdoor games and kids to ride bikes. TV was an issue so be prepared to do without or stream from your phone. Loved our family holiday and we would certainly return.

Our family had a great time staying here. The rustic cottage was beautifully furnished and the surrounding farm was absolutely stunning. Emilie was warm and friendly and made an exceptional host - a perfect balance between checking we were ok and had everything we needed and leaving us to enjoy the tranquillity. Being fully unplugged was just what we needed and experiencing the night sky out there was unforgettable

The view from the house is absolutely stunning — the sea in front and hills behind. The amenities are great too; they have everything you could need. It’s only about 15 minutes from the city, super convenient. It’s very quiet at night, and the starry sky is beautiful. We’ll definitely come back again~

Absolutely loved our stay , such a peaceful atmosphere exactly what I needed for a couple nights away from the busy city to just relax unwind, can’t rate the bed enough , I swear the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on, the lastnight was such a cold night but we were so warm with the electric blankets going , love the space in the tent, enjoyed the camp fire both nights tidying marshmallows. Enjoyed the hot tub both nights , and the pressure of the shower was amazing. Service and communication from staff were helpful in assisting when we needed for example top up on toilet paper when asked. Stacey was very helpful and informative in emails if we needed assistance. We got massages aswel our last day and they were amazing very relaxing and masseuse were lovely. Great location , just the perfect spot and not too far out of town. I would definitely recommend and go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Abbey’s beautiful farmhouse! The house itself, the peaceful surroundings, and the friendly livestock are made for such a charming and relaxing getaway. Everything was just as described—clean, cozy, and full of character. Abbey is a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. We truly appreciate her hospitality and all the little touches that made our stay special. Overall, a perfect staycation. Absolutely a 5-star experience, and we’d love to return again soon. As I wrote in the guest book, I went to the South West for a two day golf competition at Capel. A very enjoyable weekend, but sadly the golf didn’t match the excellent of the accommodation! Quiet, clean, everything one would need plus some nice little touches like a couple of chocolates, milk, and bottles of water in the fridge. I have nothing but praise

We had the nicest weekend away here. Such a peaceful place and so, so much character. You can tell the guests are really considered with all of the games, books and activities. The kitchen had more than I have ever seen in any accommodation. The beds were very comfortable. It’s set really far back from the road so if you had kids, it would feel very safe having them play in the front yard (and it’s all fenced). You can hear cars from the road if you’re out the front but not once you’re inside and it’s not in the middle of town so not on a busy road. The bathroom was great. The house is very airy and gets a lot of natural light. Very close to Yallingup maze and lots of wineries. We aren’t with Telstra and still had reception but it would be the perfect place to be ‘off-grid’ too. We’ll definitely look to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay, it was the perfect family getaway with our lab and Cavoodle. It’s in a quiet area, minutes to town, in a peaceful cabin surrounded by spacious lawns, beautiful gardens & trees. Loved waking up to the kookaburras, watching our dogs do zoomies across the backyard whilst having a warm brew on the deck in the sun. Very rarely do you find a getaway that you can share with not one but two dogs, we were very grateful to share this breakaway with them! We had tonnes of wood to keep the fire burning, which we appreciated very much! Wish we could’ve stayed so much longer. We will be back, thank you!

Absolutely loved our stay at The Nest and Addie was super accommodating when we had to unexpectedly bring our dog along. The place is clean, tidy and lovely inside - would recommend and stay again :)

Gorgeous! We felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. All was as described; cosy and comfortable; lovely bedrooms and bathroom. We enjoyed the wood fired stove. It was a pleasure to find that the generous hosts provided tea bags, coffee pods and basics for cooking _ perfect for us! The Shipwright's Mistress is lovingly crafted with shells, floats and themed art. For me, some paintings evoked another era. The SWM is elevated above gorgeous native gardens, full of local birds, looking over the Blackwood River. Best AirBnB I have stayed at.

What an amazing family holiday!! So many good things to say about the chalet. The kids were excited to sleep in bunk beds, the location is great, very close to the main center of Margaret river, yet feels like it is secluded and private in the middle of the woods. We loved the design of the chalet, and very tastefully decorated. Highly recommended.

Linda's cottage was adorable as soon as you opened the door. It was cosy, yet spacious for your luggage, and for the kids to play the wonderful board games provided. The bathroom and kitchen was also clean and spacious! The mini oven and stove was very useful to cook a few meals. We love the small thoughtful touches, like having an extension plug on the counter for your chargers, cookies and a large selection of tea! The bed was comfortable with gorgeous little wren sheets. With the sofa bed, we were able to sleep a family of 4 with 2 small children. The best part of this accommodation was the outdoors! The gardens were beautiful, and the colourful playground was a massive hit with the kids. My kids played on there for hours!! The cubby house with a full toy kitchen, and a working door bell was so much fun. Big enough to fit 2 kids playing together. The 2 swings were great, so the kids didn't have to fight as well. Linda was so lovely to say Hi. Peaceful and safe accommodation :)
