Family-friendly vacation rentals in South Seberang Perai District

The place is located at the Marina in Penang - a nice spot of its own with restaurants, entertainment and a small mall. The apartment is equipped and suitable for short term and outgoing guests enjoying a marina lifestyle with waterfront, bars and restaurants. The place has a spacious balcony to enjoy the view over the marina site and its strolling visitors. Some construction work has started for creating an additional island across the marina with a slight visual impact on the view from the apartment.

The unit was superb with spacious rooms and also private tub. My kids really enjoyed it.

Our stay at Cecilia's condo was for 2 months, so it quickly became our little home away from home. Everything met our expectations as per the description of the condo. The bed and livingroom furniture are comfy and the kitchen is well stocked with supplies and cookware. We used the stove daily for light cooking and there are two fridges which helps if you stock up on groceries. We loved the nature surrounding this condo and the regular visits by the monkeys. They instantly became the highlight of our stay, for sure. The sea view is also beautiful. There were plenty of cargo and cruise ships to watch, as well as the fishing boats that arrive early every morning. We chose not to rent a car. This location is very doable without one. We used Grab to get to and from Georgetown for shopping and touristy things. Overall, Cecilia's home is a wonderful stay for anyone looking for a natural setting, quiet, and of course monkeys! I had four weeks at Daniel and Grace's place. It was so beautiful looking out at the water and the location for groceries, food etc was spot on. The hosts are both very proactive and very friendly. The bed was super comfy (and I'm a bad sleeper), so I found that really good. I was often the only one in the pool, and it was so refreshing as I found the heat hard to handle. Would stay again if visiting Penang in future.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location is great. It is close to the city and other major places. Moreover, the host is friendly and very helpful. She made us feel like a home. We definitely would love to come back.

Nice place, great view. Lots good food nearby, and a few little night markets with good food (one by the nearby Lotus). A bit far from Georgetown but a 20min Grab will get you there. If you want to stay a little out of the hustle and bustle this is a great choice. Also low traffic and open areas to run (good place to prep for Penang Bridge Marathon) if that's something you are looking for.

Nice place with great view. Near to town and walkable distance to convenience store. Room are clean and welcoming especially to children.

Where to begin? What an absolutely stunning colonial home in a perfect location. Shawn and co were amazing with communication, the self check-in was well explained and super straightforward. Very easy to find the property too. The house itself is beautiful, plenty of space, very tastefully decorated, and comes equipped with everything you need for your stay. A big bonus is the outside seating area, garden, and wet kitchen area. Lots of nice places to eat nearby, and a very short grab ride to the beach, shopping malls, and Georgetown. Honestly one of the nicest places we’ve stayed during our travels around Malaysia, wouldn’t hesitate to come back here next time we’re in Penang. Communication was super easy. Location is about 40mins from Georgetown, in a small kampung but very clean. There are some local (really local) food stalls within walking distance if u need to grab a snack and a 24hr convenience store about 10mins walk away. I brought my dog and we would walk around the kampung in the mornings. If u have a reactive dog then i would not suggest as there are many cats, monkeys and chickens running around. The interior of the house is close to perfect, had all the necessary for a pleasant stay. The only that was missing (to me) was mosquito repellent. There are signs telling to ensure all doors are closed bcos of mozzies but there were some that got in. It’s only 3mins drive from Angsana Beach which was lovely on a non-peak weekday. Would recommend Wee Hoos to those who would like to get away from the hustle nd bustle of Georgetown

This homestay was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. Its peaceful location was also very convenient, being near many shops. We highly recommend it.

We stayed here for a month and had a great time. The beach view was great and we had live music from the beach bars and fireworks each night (for more than 4 weeks). Maybe that had to do with Chinese New Year, but it actually went on after CNY as well. Communication was excellent, there was a helpful representative who was almost always nearby and ready to assist with some very small issues we had. The security guys were very friendly to our kids and would accept packages that were delivered for us when we were out. The only significant point of improvement I see is that a bit more attention should be paid to the cleaning.

great location, great little flat with everything you'll need

We had an overall great experience staying at the Batu Ferringhi apartment in Penang. The apartment was clean, spacious, and came with a beautiful sea view that made our stay truly relaxing. The location was also perfect , close to the beach and local eateries. The host was responsive and check-in was smooth. However, we did notice that the pillows had an unpleasant smell, which could be improved for a more comfortable stay. Other than that, everything else was lovely and we would definitely consider returning!

We as a family staying at Albert's place for a month and we enjoyed it! The condo does fit to the description, and we must mention that the view is just fantastic. Unobstructive view to the Bridge II!! We also enjoy the beautiful sunrise every morning, as well as the firework show during Chinese New Year. There are food court and restaurants around the building. We also enjoy the infinite pool with the sunset. Albert is very responsive, and he gave us some very good advice and tips on traveling in Penang. We would recommend Albert's place to the other travelers.

Located in best part of beach in batu ferringhi area. Direct access through a secure gate. Infinity pool was perfect for afternoon after a long hike in close by national park. Access to Georgetown very easy with scenic bus ride , the stop is right in front of condo. The building seems to be the newest and cleanest property in area. Good amenities.

Very nice service and good comunication

We came as a family of 6 with a teenager, tweens and a kid, and the house is perfect for us. Our son sleeps outside, using the extra mattress, with cozy linens and all. Air cond, fans and heater works well. We brought simple food to cook for breakfast and supper, and the washing machine and dryer were very useful. Gana was a responsive and accommodating host. Check in and check out were simple; the guards and cleaners working there already knew what to do and they assisted us with getting the keys. It is a prefect stay if you have a large family and planning to stay longer than a couple of days. Will definitely come back in the future.
