Creaking wooden floors, wood-heated fireplaces and sturdy log walls. In the over 100-year-old Pihlaja-aho cottage, you might think you've fallen into the middle of a scene from a Suomi-Film movie. So if you're looking for an old-fashioned rustic atmosphere, you've come to the right place. Pihlaja-aho's cabin is the only place in Finland where you can spend a unique alpaca holiday. The 1.3 ha of natural meadows of the croft are grazed by three nice alpaca boys, whose easy care you are responsible for independently and according to your own schedule.

Kankaanranta Garden House

In the courtyard of Grandma's cottage, accommodation is available in the Garden House, where you sleep on a 140 cm extendable sofa bed. There is no electricity or heating in the sleeping area, but the cottage has electricity, a refrigerator and cooking facilities. Outside, there is a barbecue and a fireplace. There is no running water in the cabin, drinking/utility water is delivered to the cabin. The toilet is in the yard. There is an outdoor sauna in the yard of the main building. There is no shower in the sauna. Prices include linen and towels.

Kaislan Tila

Kaislan Tila is located in the countryside, 22km north of Mikkeli. We live in the main building of the farm and there is a 65m2 separate apartment in the yard. The farm has animals and is surrounded by thousands of lakes in Eastern Finland and forest areas rich in natural resources. The nearby lake offers recreational opportunities, fishing, swimming, boating, etc. In the woods, you can ski, pick berries, pick mushrooms and just enjoy the peace and quiet. In winter, you can go snowshoeing, skiing and skating, weather permitting.

Blueberry Villa at Saimaa Lakeside

A modern picturesque wooden villa in an exclusive safe location by Lake Saimaa awaits you only 2 hours from Helsinki. Master bedroom and another bedroom turning into a double and a baby cod accommodate a family of 4 on your holiday. A year-round livable villa with a beautiful garden is hidden by birches and pines. There is an indoor sauna, a gorgeous barbeque patio, games room, and a wood-burning lakeside summer sauna with a pier. A rowing boat, 2 mountain bicycles, a SUP board can be reserved.

Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Yöveden Ateljeekoti

Yöveden Ateljeekoti operates in a former folk school in Himalansaari, Mikkeli, which was completed in 1893. Guests have access to a kitchen, dining room, hallway, blue porch, TV area, two toilets, shower room, 1-5 bedrooms, and two courtyard barns. The sheds have electricity and are winter-proof, and in summer they are comfortably cool. Extra beds are available. The courtyard has a spacious, covered summer kitchen and a large dining table. A charcoal grill and a gas stove are available.

Koivuranta cottage

Welcome to Koivuranta-cottage, Lake Saimaa! The cottage is located on a very nice, peaceful area. There are two separate houses in Koivuranta; the main house and the Sauna-building. In the main house there is a livingroom, kitchen, toalett, sleepingroom (160cm bed) and a sleeping alcove(140cm bed). Saunabuilding is right next to the main house, and there is the wood heated- sauna and shower. In saunabuilding there is an extrabed possibility. Both buildings have a big terrace.

Ecological log house by the lake Saimaa, where's sun and wind power in use. Location is near city center's services and sights (12km). Calm, bright, nature place with small sauna building by shore with terrace and tiny sand beach and lots of activities for children and also for adults. Fenced area around the house for dogs. Rocky shore line prox 100m. Built 2012, sauna building 1982.
