Un immense merci à notre hôte pour ce merveilleux séjour en famille ! Ce chalet haut de gamme, niché au cœur des bois, est un véritable havre de paix. La décoration épurée et chaleureuse, inspirée du style scandinave, crée une atmosphère apaisante. Nous avons adoré les grandes baies vitrées donnant l’impression de vivre en pleine nature, sans aucun vis-à-vis. Tout est pensé pour le confort : literie de qualité, propreté irréprochable, nombreux équipements (dont un poêle à bois pour des soirées cosy). Les enfants ont été ravis de découvrir des jouets sur place. La communication avec l’hôte a été parfaite, réactive et attentionnée. Well appointed and matched the description. Very comfortable and great place to stay when you are in the area. Louise was very helpful and accommodating, and very responsive. Would recommend.

We recently stayed at a delightful lake house in Plattsburgh to celebrate our son’s graduation from CUNY Plattsburgh. Our time there was truly special, as the tranquil atmosphere and beautiful lake views provided the perfect backdrop for our family gathering. The Boathouse was well-equipped with all the essentials we needed for a comfortable weekend stay. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities that made our time relaxing and enjoyable. The peacefulness of the lake allowed us to disconnect from our busy lives and fully immerse ourselves in this joyous occasion. Overall, our stay was a wonderful blend of celebration and serenity. We are looking forward to returning to this lovely retreat in the future!

Our three-night stay exceeded all of our expectations. For nature lovers such as ourselves, the tranquil, beautiful setting was ideal. We saw various birds right from the cottage, and numerous others in the nearby reserve. The sunsets and morning light inspired us to paint, draw and photograph, to capture a record of this beautiful place. William is a splendid host. He provided us with historical information about the area and his family’s role in settling and living in it. He is a generous and compassionate man, and inspirational in his devotion to the land and its history. A million thanks, William!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce chalet! L’endroit est encore plus beau que sur les photos — propre, bien équipé, chaleureux et parfait pour un week-end en famille. Le chalet est spacieux et confortable, avec une belle vue et une ambiance paisible. Notre hôte a été très accueillant, attentionné et rapide à répondre à toutes nos questions. Gorgeous old home on a beautiful property, was the perfect place and location to host our large family Thanksgiving. The house was well stocked with charming dishes and serving pieces. They left plenty of wood for the wood-stove which made the large space feel so cozy, and plenty of wood and chairs surrounding the fire pit outside. They also provided plenty of drinking water and decorated with pumpkins and mums. Bed linens and towels a fresh crisp white felt nice to curl into. If I had a choice I’d opt for some queen size beds and use of the extra bedrooms! Though realize it’s not set up for multiple families but for individuals on a retreat. It still suited us just fine and the kids loved the giant room with the bunk beds. Thank you Carolyn for another perfect weekend!

Petite maison rénovée au goût du jour tout juste située à l'intersection de la rue principale où se trouve tous les services. L'air climatisé central a été bien utile (en ces quelques jours de canicule). Winchester se trouve à 30 minutes de la ville d'Ottawa et à 45 minutes des Outlets. Nous en avons aussi profité pour sillonner la région en empruntant les routes secondaires qui présentaient de beaux paysages. C'est un coin tout prêt de la grande ville qui reste à découvrir.

Dan and Tiff’s home in Montebello was absolutely wonderful! The space was warm, cozy, and spotless — you can tell they put a lot of care into every detail. We felt right at home the moment we walked in. Everything was beautifully maintained, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, inviting, and relaxing get away!

Quiet place just a short drive outside town. Place was as described. Clean and spacious. Bed comfy. Lots of towels and pillows. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, nicely decorated space for two people. The backyard is more spacious than it appears in the pictures and is fully fenced in. The outside area is beautiful. Well kept herb and flower beds, a little screened in patio, a propane fire pit, a water feature and nice ambient lighting. Our last evening we had rain so some quick rearranging allowed us to setup in the screened room to eat a barbecue dinner. Gordon and Louis thought of everything right down to the bug spray. There was tea, coffee, cold drinks, a few snacks, a bottle of wine and some cold beverages when we arrived. Even a small gift from our hosts. Louis gave us a quick tour and any instructions on arrival. If you like to watch planes or want to be close to the airport this is also a great location being a 15min drive away. Parking was ample. All of the kitchen needs. No stove, but with toaster oven,single burner salton, microwave and barbecue. We would recommend it to couples that have have a four legged friend with them

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

Amazing place, great location. Building has so many amenities! And host was super friendly and helpful. Would stay here again for sure.

Nous avons fini en beauté notre séjour à Montréal. L’appartement était fidèle aux photos et aux descriptions. Super bien équipé ! Nous n’avons manqué de rien. Rien à dire ! Le logement est magnifique ! Propre et tout est bien rangé. Avec des équipements haut de gamme. Nous étions motorisés et avons bénéficié d’une place de parking gratuite. Je vous recommande cet endroit les yeux fermés. Juste devant il y a le canal de Lachine avec une magnifique promenade. On peut aussi pique-niquer. Et pour l’aéroport c’est parfait, 10min en voiture en fin de matinée en dehors des horaires de pointes ! Merci pour ce magnifique séjour !

Myrna was a wonderful host, super responsive and very accommodating. Her space was lovely and clean. Exactly what we needed to enjoy our weekend. Would happily return for another stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Beth’s place! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. It felt like a true home away from home. Beth was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful with all the little touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. The location was peaceful and conveniently located. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

A great place to stay if you want to explore Montreal! The apartment was clean and spacious, and Chris, the host, was very friendly and responsive. I hope to stay there again the next time I’m in the city.

Super appartement. Très bien situé. Anouk est très réactive. Un point d’attention au bruit on entend marcher les gens au dessus. Ça va qu’ils sont discret. C’est un appartement que je pourrai relouer sans soucis.

Le logement étais magnifique grand insonorisé et propre merci encore je reviendrais💯🔥🔥( metro a 1min de marche)

I would highly recommend staying here when traveling to Montreal with a large group. There were more than enough beds and bathrooms to accommodate 9 of us without the fear of feeling too cramped. The amenities were top-notch, and we also enjoyed the private patio. The location was within a short walk of numerous cafes, and a large park was directly across the street. The hosts were also very flexible and responsive—a fantastic experience all around!

Dominique was extremely responsive and the place was extremely clean. Everything in Montréal was relatively close, and we enjoyed our stay a lot.
